On August 24, 2023, Donald J. Annoying Orange, turned himself in to Georgia authorities due to racketeering to overturn the 2020 election results. He was later found in Mar-a-Lago, foaming at the mouth, and screaming profanities. Police investigated the area and found large quantities of cannabis and cocaine. Large amounts of alcohol were also thought to be a cause. He is currently in the Florida State Hospital recovering. His wife, Melania, told Florida Police 'he had been acting odd lately' and 'he wasn't like himself'...
holy stuff guys

i miss browsing flipnote hatena for hours on my dsi :(
i still have tons of flipnotes saved that i downloaded from hatena, quite incredible what people were able to do despite having a color palette of like 3 not including white and only being able to use 2 at the same time lol. i think its a good example of limitation inspiring creativity and my admiration for that kind of stuff is why im pretty into old games and computers and stuff despite being born in the 21st century
when i lived in the northeast coast area; you literally could not find dippindots anywhere but certain concessions in DC (only during the summer)

but surprisingly they are still extremely popular in the southeast... i've seen them all year round in FL, SC, NC and GA

almost all circle K's in GA have freezers dedicated to them and they're pretty well full except when they run out. they have all of the flavors as well, my favorite is the banana split

one thing i cant seem to find as often down here is gumball popsicles though
as a northeasterner my whole life i do remember going several times to a mall (now demolished lmao) and some other places and getting dippin dots. love that stuff, theres a near-ish cumberland farms that still sells them and theres some grocers with knockoff ones that i have occasionally

who is lego? i've never met him
also some of destroyerofblocks's threads are gold and i still reference them to this day:
don't jump
off loving sucks
also shoutout to the drama that got derailed by loving arbys

btw i will add something meaningful to this conversation despite the above gif: bl rebuilt is far from the only video game mod to trip up antivirus software. it's pretty damn common to see disclaimers stating to add exceptions in your antivirus because certain ones will trip up even if there is no malicious code. here's an example.

in some cases the reason for the detection is obvious (dll injection mods where the injection tools get targeted because dll injection is commonly used for malware) and in other cases as others have detailed the antivirus through either signature and/or heuristic brown townysis sees some code in the executable that has some vague similarity to actual malware and not enough people have run the software / reported it as a false positive.

I never got when people said they were bad builder. Its literally Lego's, everyone's style is different there isn't really a wrong way to build with Lego's.
there is

lmfao didn't badspot say this was impossible?

i guess he was just lazy
there are screenshots that he provided to the bl archive showing attempts to combine shaders with maps with pretty messy results, i think he just went "forget it this code needs cleanup anyway" and removed maps
btw theres other pretty big features in this. you can hotload addons in-game, etc. this is basically the blockland v22 that we never got until now and its kind of insane

oh man remember his quasi-official fansite called roblox hq? the loving forum on there was like bizarro universe BLF in how equally un-moderated it was lol. whole place went up in flames after a mere 3 years because he finally gave up trying to put out all the fires his underaged stuffhead userbase kept setting. good times.
shedletsky also had his own forum called ironnoob, idk what happened with that one

speaking of blockland and roblox, check out the developers of this game (its basically high budget zeppelin battle/wars for those of you familiar with that):
it even uses a couple of blockland assets here and there

i have the same issue as well

General Discussion / Re: Blockland Glass is compromised
« on: April 19, 2023, 07:35:12 PM »
Blockland glass has been taken down and the issue has been contained. You do not need to delete blocklandglass or support_updater anymore, if you haven't already.
as an addendum:
passwords were publicly leaked - addon names were changed to blid/password combinations. apparently an improper hash algorithm was used (updated per conan's post below) rendering the hashes vulnerable to bruteforcing. if you share your blockland glass password with other accounts, change those passwords immediately.
additionally the attacker(s) were able to access an api key for jincux's stripe account and gained access to e-mail addresses and his 1099-k tax documents which they then released info from through the same method of addon renaming.
edit: i got a couple details wrong whoops. been hearing conflicting stuff lol
