The Mali manage to destroy the Taghazian army, leaving any survivors to run for their lives.
779: Siege of Taghaza Tribe
1371 Mali are laying siege against 311 Araouane.
The Mali manage to siege the tribal village with brute force, killing the entire garrison with their superior numbers.
The Taghazians have lost their last army- unable to fight back as they surrender to the Mali.

778: Religious Victory!
After word spread through the Byzantine Empire that Basileus Theophylaktos had become an Eastern Iconoclast, the realm followed in his steps, as the last Eastern Christians who refused to submit to the Iconoclast heresy were driven out of their homes by mobs of Iconoclast heretics.
Only the Iconoclast Patriarchate remains dominant in the religious sector in the Byzantine Empire, this has turned the Iconoclast faith from a heretical belief to the daily faith of the people in the realm.

The Byzantine Empire utterly crushes the small Armenian army, leaving none alive.

The Byzantine Empire destroys the Armenian army. leaving no survivors.

In a single move, the entire realm has abandoned the old Suomenusko pagan ways- as most citizens convert to Western Christianity.

This royal marriage has created a non-aggression pact between the Kingdom of Pictland and the High Chiefdom of Mann.
779: The Picts declare a claim WAR on Northumbria!
779: Battle of Teviotdale
6813 Picts are attacking 733 Northumbrians.
The Picts overpower and push back the small Northumbrian army.
779: Siege of Carrick Tribe
6793 Picts are laying siege against 531 Northumbrians.
The Picts breach the wooden walls of the tribal village, destroying the entire village and garrison.
780: Battle of Corbridge
9013 Picts are attacking 331 Northumbrians.
The Picts annihilate the last standing Northumbrian army.

1158 Mali are laying siege against 212 Araouane.
The Mali manage to starve the garrison of the Araouane tribal village, forcing them to surrender.
776: Battle of Oualata
1371 Mali are attacking 431 Araouane.
The Mali overpower the last Araouane army and thus, win the battle.
The Araouane have been crushed, they surrender and give up all their land to the Mali.
777-778: Peace and Prosperity!

The Byzantine Empire
775-776: Practice makes Perfect!
Basileus Leon IV has spent most of his time honing his skills in areas of diplomacy and intrigue, Leon IV has become a skilled diplomat and has reached an acceptable level when it comes to secrecy and intrigue.
776: Death of an Emperor!
Basileus Leon IV was found dead in his private chambers from food poisoning, he was at the age of 26 upon passing.
His five year old son, Theophylaktos- has taken the Byzantine throne after the passing of his father, he is now known as Basileus Theophylaktos.
Basileus Theophylaktos is a strong Eastern Christian and refuses to believe in Iconoclast ideals.
777: Allies!
A large scale revolt has taken place on the counties that place the borders between Armenia and the Byzantine Empire, the Sultanate of Armenia is defeated by the rebel lords.
The rebel lords decide to swear fealty to Basileus Theophylaktos to better defend themselves from possible Armenian conquests
778: Peace and Prosperity!

Satakunta

The Western Christian priest, who was welcomed by High Chief Ihala and Satakunta- has managed to spread the word of Christ far across the land and thus managed to gather a following of former Suomenusko pagans turned Western Christians.
The large mob of now Western Christians gathers outside the home of High Chief Ihala, demanding his conversion to Christianity and his loyalty to the Papacy.
The Picts

776: The Picts declare a de jure claim WAR on Gwynedd!
The Petty Kingdom of Gwynedd and their leader- King Cynan, had set sail from Wales to conquer the remaining lands of Strathclyde, successful in doing so- King Tarla is pressured by the fleeing Owain II to take back the lands of Strathclyde under the banner of Pictland, in an attempt to drive out the Welsh invaders.
776: Siege of Alt Clut Tribe
1560 Picts are laying siege against 574 Welsh.
The Picts slaughter the Welsh defenders, successfully taking back the tribal village of Alt Clut.
776: Battle of Lut
1509 Picts are attacking 314 Welsh.
The Picts annihilate the Welsh army, leaving none alive.
Gwynedd has lost it's last forces near Alt Clut, King Cynan quickly surrenders the land to the Pictish conquerors.

From the religious devotion of King Desiderius to the Western Christian church, Pope Gregorius IV has awarded Desiderius with a large sum of gold.
778: Attempted Murder!
King Desiderius survived against a plot to kill him, as a group of archers fired upon him and his guard during their travels.
The ones responsible for hiring the archers weren't uncovered.

Mansa Seydou manages to pass laws which increase the organization of the Mali, this increases the stability and authority of the crown.
Mansa Seydou can now revoke the titles of his direct vassals.

The Byzantine Empire
772: Situation Resolved!
Basileus Konstantinos V revokes the titles of all those involved in the Byzantine Revolt, instantly handing those titles out to his two eldest children.
773: Murder!
Konstantinos V, on his way to greet his vassals who arrived in Constantinople for his annual carousing, was brutally butchered and killed by a large group of disguised bandits, the guards protecting Konstantinos V managed to kill many of the disguised assassins, but were unable to find out who was behind the attack.
After the tragic assassination of Konstantinos V, Prince Leon- the eldest son of Konstantinos V has stepped up and claimed the Byzantine throne, now known as Basileus Leon.
774: Political Struggle!
Basileus Leon proposes to increase the authority of the crown in the Byzantine Empire, but after the sudden murder of Konstantinos V- most rulers feel that it is too early to push the creation of more laws that give the crown absolute authority.
The law to make the authority of the crown absolute is faced with the public disapproval of all vassal lords, the law does not pass.

Satakunta
772: Political Tension is Resolved!
Chief Hapaa, who seeked to become free from the control of High Chief Ihala was convinced to stay as a chieftain in Satakunta after he was gifted a large sum of gold.
The realm is impressed by this show of diplomatic skill (and bribery), the risk of a future revolt even being considered has been decreased heavily.
773-774: Trade Established!
Markets and dirt roads connecting local tribal villages have been constructed in all the lands of Satakunta, increasing the amount of trade flowing through the lands, but doing very little to help stabilize the realm.
775: Change in Faith?
The Papacy has sent out a Western Christian priest in an attempt to convert the both High Chief Ihala and the population of Satakunta into devoted Western Christians, will this infidel priest be burned alive for stepping on the land of the Satakunta- or will High Chief Ihala travel down the road of god and convert to Christianity?

The massive Pictish and Breton Band army has set sail to the lands of the Innse Gall, prepared to conquer the enemy.

The Picts totally destroy the army of 387 Irishmen, none of the Irish are left alive to keep as prisoners.
772: Battle of the Innse Gall Tribe
13176 Picts & The Bretons are laying siege to a tribal village, holding 373 Irishmen as garrison.
The Picts have broken the defenses of the tribal village, pouring in and slaughtering all Irishmen who dare rise up in arms against them.
The Innse Gall have been annihilated, King Ciniod II has claimed the western isles for himself with nobody left to contest his claim.

Ciniod II has passed away at the age of 51 from natural causes, his loss is heavily mourned by his close family and the people of Pictland.
Ciniod's eldest son Tarla has been placed upon the throne of Pictland as the legitimate heir to the Pictish Kingdom.
775: Heretical Discovery?
Bishop Aniel, a local Western Christian holy-man has requested an audience with King Tarla.
The demand of the Bishop is simple, he wishes to gather up all the heretical works that exist in Pictland in order to burn it all in the name of god, what will King Tarla do?
