like, when the boss spawns a menu opens up that says the name of the gamemode and they can either accept it and do that gamemode or deny it and do a regular round
That would be cool.
Perhaps also add an incentive for tag onto this choice, where you get extra points for choosing it

According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to gets its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway, because bees don't care what humans think is impossible.

Perhaps the detonator's miniboss could be like an upgraded version of it, sort of like what constructor has.
Besides having more health, and possibly more speed, it could have:
  • An upgraded stickybomb launcher, which heats up faster on the charge-up to launch the stickybombs farther, and/or can shoot more bombs. More powerful bombs would be cool to, or even a small ability to them, like frag grenades(where they shoot out small projectiles) or briefly stun the boss
  • An upgraded version of that other gun the class has, that shoots the yellow bombs(I forgot its name). Perhaps it can deal a little bit more damage? Just a thought, but the gun is probably good enough as it is
  • Another weapon, such as the TF2 pipe launcher the class used to have. Could be a replacement for the yellow bomb launcher thing. More powerful version.
This is just to keep consistency and playstyle between the class and its miniboss. I think we should still keep dragon for random class selection though, since it is a well designed class.

Personally, tag is definitely more of a hide-and-seek game. It's mostly just hiding from the boss for 5 minutes, which is a large waste of time. Also, I don't believe the boss or normals get any points for the round(correct me if I'm wrong), but it is definitely a waste of boss for the person playing as boss. Maybe it could be replaced with a round which functions kind of like it, where it forces everyone on the normals to pick the same class, and the boss is always a given class, so it can at least have a boss battles aspect to it, because there is little of the "battles" aspect to tag, besides getting a wrench or shooting the boss with the cannon.

When the minigame resets it cancels all events. If someone uses the launch pad just a moment before the minigame resets, they can get it stuck.
Maybe there could be a slight change to the minigame, where it kills everyone before respawn in the timespan it takes for a launch pad to reset, or teleports them to a celebration room?

The lousy jump pads keep breaking. They get stuck in the "launched" position permanently after a little while. Any way to fix this?
