Thanks booster pack, getting three golden bricks sounds lucky but I don't feel lucky.

I'm like 90% sure if you try this with TF2 you'll just end up with a large black rectangle

It's always worked for me.  Why would it do that in the first place?

I got a question to ask. How do you take pictures of your classes in the loadout screen?

Press the Print Screen button on your keyboard (sometimes it's abbreviated) while in-game.  After alt + tabbing or quitting, open an image editor (MS Paint) and paste the image into the document.

You can either do that or just take a screenshot in-game (F12 by default, I believe) and find the file on your computer.  I think after you take a screenshot the dialog box gives you the option to see the location of the file or something like that.

Masterlegodude posted the 2nd solution while I was typing this, but whatever.

Well you did something dumb enough to get your account hijacked so maybe you need me to say it three times.

What does living in Illinois my entire life have to do with Steam Guard? Do you even know how it works? Maybe you should look into that because you don't seem to understand. I've had to verify steam guard many times. I just know how to keep my computer secure and how to stay off of scam sites. Not a hard thing to do.

No.  I've kept every aspect of my Steam account and everything else I own safe, this is the first time something like this has happened.  Obviously I didn't intend for this to happen, and it was dumb, but stuff like this happens.  The last thing I need is you pretending to know better than I do and insisting that I need you to personally tell me three times what I should do.

Yes, most people do have to verify their steam guard many times.  I'm saying I've verified mine so many times to the extent that it almost became an extra "unnecessary" step of something I had to do often.  I was never on a scam site, this whole situation occurred on tf2outpost.  I clicked the link, tried logging in, and went through with the code.  I'm one of the last people I'd expect something like this to happen to.  But it happened, and all I can do is wait on Steam to help regain my account and possibly my items.

receive any messages lately about so called free games? You probably had a key logger or something and your password to your email got picked up as well as your steam.

Not the case.  Steam is the only thing; everything else is good.

Does anything even happen to your account unless you log in?

Nothing happens if you go to the site and don't log in.  The sites are always changing, though.  That most likely won't be the same domain that you or anyone else gets linked to.  I had a different address linked to me than the one Demian posted.

Is there a certain way of telling if the Steam Community links are real or not? I want to avoid loosing my account like everyone else, I'm anxious now. I hope nobody else is effected by this phishing scheme people try to pull.

Demian posted the one that my account hijacker linked him.  As you can see there, some of them are obvious and you can point them out, others not as much.  The best advice I can give you is to be very wary of the website address and to turn on Steam Guard.  Like I mentioned in my last post, for most people who don't travel too often Steam Guard notifications are a big sign that something is happening that is not usual (someone trying to access your account).

I haven't seen this in ages. Are you guys seriously not using Steam Guard or what?

I've had Steam Guard enabled since the beginning.  I've lived in different countries, states, and travel pretty often.  Having to verify with the code from Steam is very common for me, and often it has seemed unnecessary, so I treated it like any normal time and just went through with it.

I don't understand why you have posted in this thread three times now with essentially the same message.  Not everyone lives in Illinois their entire life; if you received a Steam Guard notification you would be much more surprised than I ever am.

Yeah, my account got hijacked yesterday.  I had a friend who it happened to recently, too.  I've sent in a support ticket but Valve works at their own pace, so it will probably be a while.  For anyone who is friends with my steam account and sees this, don't click any of those links, it's not me.

Be careful for it, I've never had something like this happen to me.  They've sold all my "valuable" TF2 items, and have played a few games that I own.

I haven't played ROBLOX in years now.  The only reason I started playing Blockland was because I transferred to a mac computer a few years ago (back on windows now), and Blockland was on mac while ROBLOX wasn't (at the time).

It isn't a game I would return to, I grew out of it many years ago.  However, it is nice to see some old stuff from a little while back and how ROBLOX used to be.  It really has changed drastically over the years.  I check up and accept friend request/read messages on my account at least a few times a year.  Only reason I'm reminded to login is because people from the community add me on Steam and try to buy my old account.

wrong board

Could be.  I didn't post it there because I'm pretty sure there's a long lost Super Meat Boy megathread.
This is just about one level so I figured it would fit well enough in off topic.  I'll see if I can get it moved.

(Video example, not me playing)

I've had SMB for 3 years now and I've played it sparsely during that time frame, but still managed to beat the light world once before.  However, I just started about a week ago again with no save file and I'm trying to 100% the game (so far 100% forest, hospital, salt factory, hell, and currently on rapture).  I just beat this warp zone in one sitting but I remember trying it a year or two ago.  Probably the hardest part of the game I've played.  If you've beat it or attempted it you know damn well how difficult this warp zone is.

Open the GUI editor with F10, select, and delete the elements you don't want. The next time you start Blockland the changes will revert.

Thanks.  This is exactly what I needed to completely rid of the bottomprint.  With Greek's fix for the tool HUD all that leaves is evented text that appears in the chat.  Is there any way to get rid of that?

Quick edit:  Also, the blue names when players are typing.  That isn't needed as much, but is that in any way removable?  I didn't immediately seem able to with F10 but I'll check it out again.

Really appreciate the help.  Even though the solutions are basic, they're still solutions and they do help.

The HUD one isn't bad but if you could write something so it doesn't have to be constantly re-applied that would be nice.  It seems like it stays as long as you don't open up options or die.  The chat one is also nice and is pretty much what I was looking for.  However, can you also make it hide teamchat?  And is it possible to filter out Slayer/evented text that appears in chat?

As I also mentioned in the OP, if it's possible hiding the names of those typing and GUI elements imposed by bottomprint/centerprint/etc. would be nice.  Here's a screenshot as an example:

By default as most know you can check the "Hide Tool Box" option in Blockland's options.  However, the tool box still opens once you press q to use/equip a weapon.

To cut to the chase, I've been thinking of making a deathmatching compilation video and I want the screen to essentially only show my crosshair and the killfeed, if possible (basically Script_FilmMode but with those two elements still showing).  I don't know if you can only show kills in the chat box, but it would be nice if you could.  If not, hiding the blue names that appear while players are typing would be nice, too (both not being shown would be the best case scenario).  In addition, hiding stuff like T+T's ammo display and other stuff like that on weapons would be nice.

I talked to Chrono a bit about this yesterday but he's having some computer issues and said he would need Blockland installed and the script would "require work."  If anyone could whip this up it would be great.  Thanks.
