Serious discussion about topics that people care about is rare. And when it does arise, it quickly turns into a flame war.
I don't like that.

I've slowly stopped visiting different boards of this forum, as they have decayed. Recently I've gotten down to Off Topic, Games, and Creativity. Off Topic has become stuff, obviously, and my last attempt at calling somebody out for being an idiot got me banned. My favorite part of the Creativity board was how people openly expressed their opinions about art, which is the only thing I want them to do for me. However, this is apparently no longer welcome and it really does make me sad.

but the Games forum is still cool, so good job guys.

So I'm not going to post anymore, because in short, you fellows don't do much except piss me off and then I waste my time getting pissed off.

Assuming this topic is deleted and I got banned, nothing of much value will be lost. Staying and just being angry all the time would be doing a disservice to the forum populace, just look at a certain angry forum Mod.

You can bug me on steam here: http://steamcommunity.com/id/spockticus/

also, yes, this is obviously just an ego stunt!

Good riddance.
photoshop filters aren't art lol![/s]

lol I'm the one derailing it... okay.
because none of my posts have had anything to do with OP's drawings, and nobody personally attacked me despite that being completely off subject.

You mean like this?
awesome derailing!

but yeah, exactly like that. The topic was useless. Magick was being dumb. I did not care about it.

Oh look, he doesn't care about improving his things that aren't art. So suggestions are, of course, useless and a waste of the poster's time.
Go figure!

I can see it's difficult for some users to take positive criticism along with negative criticism.
Like that certain user who's still angry because I'm not impressed by photoshop filters.
I apologize for having an opinion.

Obviously the only reason I would ever post anything is to aggravate others and make them feel bad about themselves, not something silly like giving honest advice or anything.

I'll let you know something, My stuff is nice stuff, and your stuff is stuff, stuffface.

a chef's food isn't a good example because you usually pay for that food.
it's more like food given out for free at a cooking convention.

Didn't you just come back from a ban for being a richardhead?
I was banned because I don't care about Magick Mage spamming PMs at everyone for attention. This is apparently quite a crime.

I'm also going to wait until OP asks for a list of problems for each piece, because obviously it's just a waste of my time if he doesn't want it.
I should also note that on my first post, by "stop using paint", I meant to use a better program. Not to stop making art. Some people use paint and make good art, but still alternatives like GIMP (http://www.gimp.org/) work a lot better and more efficiently.

I still don't understand how the hell you fellers are taking any of this stuff seriously. OP pretty obviously isn't putting effort into their art, and nobody has bothered to give a decent criticism of it except me. I'm still probably wasting my time.

I try to help people who try hard on their artwork and seek improvement.
an extremely poorly drawn man in a hat made in paint just screams effort, right?

There's nothing in particular that I can criticize except everything. It'd be nice if you guys, instead of throwing insults at me, actually took your own advice.

I know where my art abilities begin and end, I have never posted a thread for anything I didn't spend over 2 hours on. The line is blurry between effort and skill, at least for you, but ultimately anybody can make "good" art if they spend time on it.

If you really do believe that I'm just being snooty, and OP worked his heart out making these paintings but just has low skill, then I would be happy to make a list of all the problems I see that need improvement for each piece. Somehow I doubt anyone would bother reading the whole thing, though.

If you feel the need to challenge my "stuffty attitude" any longer, please do so in a drama topic or private message.
I don't waste my time critiquing work by artists who don't care about making their art better.

It's funny because little to none of the ASCII art posted here was made by its poster.

It doesn't seem like polygamy would be favorable to the woman, but if she's all for it then it really isn't the government's place to say otherwise.

Period started yet?
Seriously stop being a loving prick.
Everyone has different skills
skill level is no excuse for this stuff. Honestly, what do you expect me to say? "Oh well this looks like something that somebody would make when they were actually TRYING to make bad art, but good job anyways!"

No. They suck. I highly doubt he spent over 15 minutes on a single one of those. This board isn't a place to come for a free ego-padding. That's what deviantart's for.

There is nothing for me to say "nice job about"
There is no effort
There is no aesthetic value
Not even a cool concept that any were based on

It's stuff. Not that you couldn't already tell, but you just felt the need to get angry because I don't give away free compliments.
