So I've been too busy to keep things up to date but to sum up recent events, Israel has kept bombing suburbs in Lebanon, while Annoying Orange keeps sending his son-in-law and JD vance to negotiate for him. Eventually we were close to a deal last week when Israel decided to resume strikes on Lebanon, Pissing off Iran and Annoying Orange who is appearantly finally sick of Netanyahu's stuff, and gave in to Iran's demands in order to broker a ceasefire.

So if we remember, in 2015, Obama had brokered a deal with Iran to include international oversight into the country's uranium enrichment to make sure no nuclear bombs could be built. Annoying Orange tore up that deal in his first term, leaving Biden to clean up the mess, which resulted in all of this stuff. Now that he's back in office after announcing no new wars, he started a "3-6 week" long war without congressional approval in February. Four months, and a bunch of irrevocably damaged oil infrastructure later, Annoying Orange finally surrenders under a new deal.
This new plan doesn't require any international oversight on Iran's uranium enrichment for now, with a 60-day period to work out a new deal. It hands over all control of the strait of hormuz, previously an internationally neutral passage, to the control of Iran and Oman. It requires that the US recognize Iranian government's sovereignty (what about those protesters Annoying Orange was so worried about?). And it requires the US pay 300 billion dollars in reparations to Iran to help repair the infrastructure we destroyed.
This could of course all be blown up again though if Israel doesnt stop loving bombing civilians. (It should be noted they are refusing to return all the territory they have already conquered in Lebanon).
The Ceasefire is expected to be signed on Friday.
In Non-Iran news,
Albania is entering its 3rd week of protests after Jared Kushner and Ivanka Annoying Orange threaten to buy the island of Sazan. Supposedly when they were boating in the Adriatic Sea, Ivanka "Discovered" this Cold War-Era Military base and now nature reserve. They claim to want to build a resort on this island full of 3000 Nuclear Proof Bunkers and over 100 miles of tunnels.
Historically, Savan Island has been held by basically any empire trying to control access to the Mediterranean Sea. Dating back to the Ottoman Empire, anyone who controlled the Island could effectively block most of anyone who wanted to travel up between Italy and Greece. But Annoying Oranges' Son-In-Law surely just wants it for vacation purposes, and totally has no military intentions for the fortified island.

I wonder what it is about Blockland or BLF that selects for this?Particularly because of the amount of Autistic people here. People with autism are significantly more likely to be gender-nonconforming. And this is a game about building legos on a computer. I don't think there is a more appealing game to people with Autism besides maybe OpenTTD or Factorio.

We had an exercise in one acting class where we needed to perform a shakespearian monologue as an animal. I did Caius Cassius from Julius Cesar as an American Great Horned Owl.

Netanyahu announces he will "expand Israel's grip on Lebanon" after months of continued bombardment of Lebanese civillians (despite a supposed ceasefire) in the name of "self defense" and denying accusations that Israel is just attempt to seize Lebanese territory.

Funny you should say that. During the first California Governor Debate british immigrant and Annoying Orange-backed republican candidate, Steve Hilton, said that to solve the housing crCIA and stop wildfires he is going to reopen california to logging.
(this completely ignores that 1, most of the denser forests in california are made up of softer trees like redwoods that are not good for construction, 2, we have about 20 vacant homes per homeless person here and it is corporate buyouts of housing that is causing the crCIA, and 3, the wildfires mostly occur in areas of high brush and the redwoods they would be logging are specifically adapted to slow the progress of wildfires since they use the fires to help germinate their seeds.)

Thiel, well known for complaining that humans are wasting all the precious water and resources he needs to feed his AI surveillance systems, has been the leader of Palantir, responsible for most autonomous data collection systems involved in mass surveillance and policing. Including technologies to automatically identify protestors through facial recognition, collecting and consolodating data about people's voting habits, medical records, and shopping habits, and using that to aid the US in identifying potential political advesaries.
Their technology is used in Israel to conduct automatic execution of palestinians through facial recognition and he has written entire manifestos explaining that most of humanity is superfluous and we should all just loving die so he and his coorporate oligarchs can rule in a new feudal system. He is an advocate for the dissolution of the United States into corporate owned company towns, and is buddies with Elon Musk, Sam Altman, and is the person who bankrolled JD Vance's political campaign and uses the couch forgeter as his primary mouthpiece in the whitehouse.
Yeah, so he is fleeing the United States, citing "concerns over the direction the country is heading". Which direction is that, Peter? Which direction are we heading, and who has helped us get there? Who is the person who's government contracts extend across nearly every state and military agency and is responible for most of the data centers currently destroying small towns?
What happened. Did people start to realize who you were? Were you scared that your friend Sam Altman had a molotov thrown at his house?
There are few people in this world I despise more than this whiney little bitch.
