Off Topic / I have to make a short Film, HELP ME DECIDE!
« on: December 26, 2017, 04:03:54 PM »
Senior year of college as a film major. My final "capstone" project is to make some kind of short film 10-15 minutes in length.

I plan to do some variety of mockumentary (no, not like the office - more like Zileg or an actual investigative documentary)
but I don't know what topic I want to pursue. Got lots of ideas that could be fun, but who knows.

So yeah, you should vote on one of the idea above or write a suggestion in the comments.

If you want an idea of what kind of stuff I can/have done - look over yonder (this is a friend's channel, not mine.)

depends on the situation

Yeah, there are some contexts in which it seems fine. But let's say it's in a normal situation in which someone just messages you out of the blue

Feels to me like someone answering a phone as if they don't know who they're talking to

it sounds like you just picked up the phone and is asking if somebody is there
Beat me to the punch

Is it weird to start an online conversation with, "hello?" ?

I think so. Friend is convinced it's a normal thing to do. I need it proven mathematically

Triple posts are fun.

Anywho I made a 2nd episode if anybody cares to see. Ima let this topic die after this tho

There's this dude who commented on one of my videos- obviously he just spamming people's videos at random trying to get support for his channel in the future or something like that. It got hit by my spam filter, of course, and it said this:

Hey! I love your video! Keep it up. :) I want to start making YouTube videos soon, too. It would be so great if you could support me with a dollar to get things started because I need equipment for my videos. There's no need to feel bad if you can't, I still think you're great and I wish you the best for you and your channel. This comment will be marked as spam because of the link, I'm sorry about that. Peace & Love, Dominik.

So out of curiosity I clicked on his channel and hit patron page.

37 patrons.

1,500 subscribers.

0 videos.

How? Does spamming random users actually work THAT well? How long would he have to do that for it to work?

Okay which of you flatfoots voted that he crap himself

Thought this could be an interesting idea to give a try- where the viewers come up with and vote on what should happen next.

Haven't been on these forums in a while, but it's always fun coming back.

Off Topic / Re: Which Headphones are better?

I'm kind of leaning in the same direction, but I also don't really know how to differentiate what any of the specs mean as far as quality goes in the long run.

Plus the second two headphones both have cords covered in cloth, which usually adds some durability, and a USB plug, which is really nice.

The Last headphones was supposedly originally nearly $100 so I feel like their must be something that makes them good, but the first ones are the ones that seem like potentially the better choice

So I'm trying to decide between these three headphones. In spite of the prices being shown, I can pretty much get any of the three for the same price.

So which ones are better? I've tried looking at it based on prices, specs, and different reviews, but I'm honestly still not really sure.

Headphones number 1

Headphones number 2

Headphones number 3

Dude I was legit obsessed with figuring this out for years when I was younger

Lost my files tho

I had all sorts of info on it that I gathered, but one thing's for sure, it is NOT made of real stuff that you can whip up right now. Those stupid "official" recipes you find online annoy the snot out of me because they make no sense in the context of Spongebob. How fish gonna get their hands on beef?

shutup this was my childhood
even if it's absolute armpit dump now
