I'm so sorry, this must be so terrible for you... I still remember his trippy builds from a long time ago, those were so unique

Stay strong, my friend, and let's hope justice will be served.

barnabas was another of my fave people he was so cool

Hi Colten! :) I still remember the cake you built for me a looong time ago :D

It's odd how years pass by unnoticed. One day you are an angsty teen otherwise without a care in the world, then suddenly the next day you are now a middle-aged man with responsibilities. The silver lining is that I'm not losing my hair, yet.

Getting back on topic, anyone remember Nige111 or Maor? Or Yuval200 from the RTB era? What happened to Hollywood? What about Randy or Space Guy?

To be honest, you'd have more luck finding fail-binned add-ons by asking around rather than in the Fail Bin itself. I'm pretty sure all the mediafire and other filesharing site links in those threads are dead by now.

...
This is the highly requested Dalton Camino commissioned by Master King Deaddude, obviously based on the 1968 Chevrolet El Camino, by the way this is not the final name of this vehicle, we're still thinking of a fictional name for it, if you have any suggestions let me know.
...

How about "Cavalier"? Or "Sprinter" (GMC made a rebadged version of this generation of the El Camino called Sprint. I just found out today).

That glitch looks awesome! There is a workaround to fix that, though.

It's only natural to look back on old post you've made and cringe a little (or lot). That means you have grown as a person since then and now you know better than back then. It's best not to dwell on them too much as too much rumination is bad for your sanity.

Add-Ons / Re: BlockoSedan
« on: December 27, 2020, 01:21:13 AM »
Thanks for all the kind replies! :D

yo this is an epic update to the original trio. would be neat to have some sort of events for making randomized variations (apply accessories and such) when the vehicle spawns

Some accessories do spawn randomly, there is a 10% chance to have a roof rack on the roof, a 40% chance for mud flaps and a 45% chance to have a right side mirror. But events would be a neat idea!

Add-Ons / BlockoSedan

BlockoSedan
A simple sedan with a taxi and a police car variant

Instructions

The cars spawn with randomised colours and wheels (hubcap, or no hubcap version).

To change colours type /veh <number>
To change colour targets (body, interior, floor, headliner, louver, spoiler) type /veh t 0-5.

Headlights can be turned on and off with the light key.

Turn signals can be operated with the brickshift left and right (numpad 4 and 6 by default). Hazard lights work with brickshift down (numpad 5 by default).

Change parts with the following commands:

Wheels:
/veh w 1-4 (1 = stock hubcaps, 2 = stock w/o hubcaps, 3 = 8-spoke alloys, 4 = 16-spoke alloys)
Parts and accessories:

Roof rack:
/veh lr - A metal roof rack.

Passenger side mirror:
/veh rm

Louver:
/veh lo - a plastic louver on the rear - visibility is overrated, anyway.

Spoiler:
/veh s 0-2 (0 = no spoiler, 1 = small spoiler on the back, 2 = a large wing).

Bumpers:
/veh b - removes/restores bumpers.

Steering wheel:
/veh st - switches between the stock and the sporty steering wheel.

Blocko Sedan - Taxi:

Same controls and accessories (minus the roof rack). Taxi light can be operated with shiftbrickup (numpad+ by default.)

Blocko Sedan - Police:

Colourable areas: body (0), side panels (1), interipr (2), floor (3), headliner (4).

Lights and turn signals work the same way as the regular Blocko Sedan. Police lights and sirens can be activated with numpad 2 and 8. Police lights can be toggled on/off with numpad + (it will also turn off sirens). Two siren tones are available.

Credits:

The original BlockoSedan could have never been made without the help of Trigun. This update could not have been possible without Teneksi's input on handling and other bits.

The Italians invented rust. Mazda has perfected it.

General Discussion / Re: How do you get better at building?
« on: November 22, 2020, 02:34:33 PM »
Try copying real life buildings first, you can learn a lot from that. It's always good to read a little more about architecture in general, just to familiarise yourself with some basic ideas. The most important of all is to not to sweat it too much, it's supposed to be fun!

I like the little lighting thing on your police light!

Welcome back Filipe! These cars are looking great, colour me impressed!
