Hello, so I'm trying to hop back on blockland, but I have a regular key. When I download the regular .exe, for some reason it uses the steam api, how can I make it to not use steam? Thanks.

Make sure a firewall isn't preventing BL from authenticating. that's a common problem. Also, help threads belong in the Help section.
Hey thanks! I deleted my Antivirus that seemed to have done the trick, thanks for the help!

General Discussion / Cant log in to Blockland
« on: October 23, 2018, 04:11:07 PM »
I know I should probably post this on the Help Section, but it's pretty dry. I was wondering if I was banned from Blockland because I'm not able to be authenticated, it just says "Authenticating: Validating Key", like I'd like to know what's going on. I haven't logged in to my account in months and I just wanted to check on what's been going on, but I keep getting this message. Do I have to buy a new key? I took a break from using my computer and games for a long while and I'm completely confused. I haven't received an email about anything, should I email support? Thank you.

I can see where you're going with this, but in reality, it doesn't really do any harm. New people don't play Blockland because it's not innovative enough and not even promoted at all. Let's be honest, no matter how many times people create gamemodes (etc.) it all ends up with the same route. I'd rather play something I enjoy playing and enjoy something that I payed for. Let's enjoy Blockland while we have it still up, instead of ranting about this thread for almost 5 months already. I barely looked at this thread for the first time (like 5 minutes ago) and all I see is your rants since November. Just drop it dude.

Okay, I normally don't go on Blockland anymore (or as much as I used to), but I wanted to comment because of all the hate comments I've seen and CityRPG is trash (but good trash) lol. I know that a lot of us aspired to make a difference in the gamemode but honestly, let's just be real and stop posting on the threads like if our version is finally "the one". Just announce your server and if anyone wants to get on it thats cool, but I think the thing that turns people off is the attitude that "your's if finally the legit new one". In reality we all know that it's most likely that this gamemode was downloaded on mediafire and was just tweaked a bit lol. No hate, because I host CRPG too when I feel like it, it's stupid, but fun when you just want to mess around. It gets boring too quickly so thats the bad part about it, so maybe try to add something more to the server to keep it from going stale. Maybe I'll plan to make a server again.

correct terminology is "take leave" for future refrence
Quote
Active duty Soldiers earn 2.5 days of annual leave (vacation) for each month of service, for a total of 30 days per year. Currently, Soldiers can bank up to 60 days of leave at the end of the fiscal year. Any additional days above 60 days will be forfeited at the beginning of the next fiscal year (October 1). Each Soldier has an individual responsibility to monitor and manage their leave, and current leave balances are recorded on the Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), which can be viewed at myPay.
Oh okay that's pretty good. I felt better a lot better with this thread! For right now, I calmed down with how I feel, it's neutral now... which is a good thing lol.

I'm in the army right now, stationed in Germany.

I can't tell you much about the navy, but I can tell you that once you're out of training the army is pretty darn great. And I expect the other branches to be the same way.
On the familial side, it seems like my fam is handling it pretty well. As far as I could tell from when I visited them on leave the only person who missed me was my cat.
That's nice, I think I'll get over it soon, how many times are people in the military able to have a leave?

Aw this is a sweet thread. Hang in there bud
Thanks, I feel like it'll take a while for me to get used to it, especially during the holidays

my brother was in the air force. it's weird but you definitely get used to them not being around.

Hopefully, it does feel so different, sometimes I forget my bro's not there and when I want to have like a random talk, like no one's there :l

Off Topic / Any Person who's been In The Navy/Military? Family Members?
« on: November 21, 2017, 02:16:44 AM »
Hey, so I was wondering how many people here have family that's in the Navy/Military? I'm just wondering for some insight. My brother just went to bootcamp today for the Navy and I'm already sad. Even though I see my dad, it's mostly just my mom and I now, so it's kinda lonely. How do you cope with it? Any Stories?

Thanks.

I like the first one (personally), kind leaning toward the 2nd one.

I like the creeper infection game thing, I forgot the real name, but like you have to spray anti creeper spray or something like that.

Alright, I'll keep you guys updated, but probably not in a while. I'm going to try it out, I'm going to keep the same domain since I got it for a year on Google, but I'll find another place where I can host a custom website. Thanks!

I think that has less to do with Wix's hosting and more to do with the sheer volume of Javascript and HTML5 nonsense on the page. Like I said, start out really simple. Buy a domain and hosting from some website like GoDaddy and build something from the ground up with HTML/CSS.
Ah okay then, thanks for telling me. This is a pretty fun project in all honesty and want to get better at this.
*Do you guys recommend to build my site using Wordpress better?
