The Team->addLifeTickets event already exists. Is it not working for you?
Your right it does exist however my issue with it is that it doesnt work in my dedicated server. For some reason the team(client) and team(brick) target events dont show up in game. Works fine in single player though. Not sure why it happens, like I said above, swollows server events are the same way, they work fine in singleplayer but as soon as i put a dedicated server up they dont work no more.

Im aware that there are some team events out there but they are either not in depth enough or they don't work on dedicated servers. Here are some events i was i thinking could be added:

Output Event: AddLifeTickets[TeamName][Amount]
Output Event: AddLives[TeamName][Amount]
Output Event: RespawnTeam[TeamName]

A feature that i've always wanted was Wave spawning. Similar to how Insurgency does it if anyone is familiar with that game.

Another addition that would be really beneficial to Capture points is the ability to cap points in a zone rather than standing on a plate. Have it to where you can set the dimensions of the capture zone and everything else basically works the same.

As for the events, there are events that can accomplish what im looking for however they do not work when i host on a dedicated server, along with a couple other addons such as Swollow's Server events, if that could work on my dedicated server that would open up a lot of possibilities for me.

Anyways, thoughts, opinions, and guidance more than welcome.

Well i got vulture instead, i understand it way better, i got a server set up, i cant login however. The console log wont let me put in my password, it will take my username just not my password, i wont let me type it in.

I've never used Azure so I'm not sure what it entails. Basically a VPS is just an instance of an OS running on the same hardware as other operating system instances. Since the server is not anywhere near you, you will need to remote in with Windows Remote Desktop. To do this you will need 1) an IP address, 2) a username, and 3) a password from your VPS host. Once you remote in you can install applications as your normally would on your computer. Instead of port forwarding through your router all you need to do is allow Blockland.exe through Windows Firewall.
Awesome, thank you for the explanation. Now do i need MY IP address or the VPS's IP Address? Also how do i get a Username and password? Is that something i set up through the VPS?

Since Glass isn't selling servers anymore i need to use a VPS to start hosting my server dedicated, i cant host it regular because the wireless service that i use doesn't allow me to forward ports.
I need help setting one up to host, i need someone to break this down Barney style. Currently signed up for Microsoft Azure and i have no idea how to use it or anything about VPSs really.

Does it really matter? Im not here to impress anyone with how my forum page looks. Im not Army either, doesnt matter.

"slower" "more careful engagements" sounds good in theory but in practice the two dont mix at all.

try slower and more controlled engagements. if you want slower engagements, drop the damage level. it makes it so players have more chance to react and plan out their engagement fully. a 'careful engagement' means that there is high risk involved, ie high damage, which means that players will be inadvertently rushing to their death and dying instantly.

thats an unattractive engagement in all ways. sacrifice realism for fair, controlled gameplay, always
The gameplay im trying to establish will be hard to pull off, but i believe we can make it happen to an extent if not fully, there will obviously be balance in some ways or another, and the gameplay will be controlled. ive planned this stuff out and have had plenty of time to do so, i have a feeling we will make this work, i just need people who are willing to put out some work to make all this happen.
