Lots of stuff to read through. Never realized what dark stuff was going on behind the scenes, and itís crazy to see the names of people I remember when I frequented this place much more. I can see the end is approaching, if it hasnít already come already. Surprised the forums are still up.

Been here since Ď08 when I was stuck playing the demo on GSFís maps. Finally scraped twenty bucks together in middle school and bought the game and what a blast it was to finally play and be a part of the community. Then stupid me and my friends wanted to troll the forums and I posted gay research on a goddamn faux-Lego forum with kids, got banned, and had to get a new key. What a dumb kid I was.

Iím almost 27 now and I still come check in from time to time. Iím not exactly sure why. Maybe because itís the first community I was really part of. I glanced at some peopleís stories here and I can heavily relate to their childhoods, and experience being here. Maybe I hope to recognize some old friends, or see something new with the game and people I sort of grew up with. Itís a strange thing. Being part of something like this before the big social media boom.

Now weíre all grown up, and sooner or later weíre gonna stop coming here. Or maybe there wonít even be a ďhereĒ to come to anymore.

I havenít really delved into the sick drama, other than a couple posts which mention some names. First thing that popped into my head was that supposedly Bisjac would babysit Badspotís kids, that they knew each other in real life. Hopefully it was nothing more than that.

Itís always a lot of catching up to do every time I pop back in here. I hope all of you grew up into great people, and are happy in life. I hope those of us that werenít fortunate enough to make it this far rest in peace. Maybe Iíll see some of you in Brickadia if I ever get around to trying it out. Maybe weíll never see each other ever again. Regardless Iíll always look back fondly on the good times I had with you guys.

Man. Iím not as active here anymore as Iíd like to be, but this is wild. Canít believe it. I remember using his maps back in v8 because I didnít want to fork over the measly $20 to pass the 150 brick limit.

Any idea what happened?

a.) don't have stuffty internet
b.) don't join a server thats 3 continents away

other than that it's good enough

Isn't SpeedKart always sort of doomed to fail because of the wonky vehicle physics? I'm assuming after all these years they're still broken since apparently player/server connections and physics go hand in hand.

It's nice to see how so many of the guys here dipped their toes in the water when it came to modeling, scripting etc. and went on to do something with that knowledge and talent. But god damn, it doesn't make it any easier when it comes to missing them, and that sense of (dysfunctional) community that this place used to have.

Zombies in the BluZone

loving miss you Knaz. I remember saying to myself I wouldn't drift away from this hellhole like so many others, but I guess we're all guilty of getting caught up in things sooner or later.

Hahaha, what a loving trip.

Me? CoolSwain/CasualMen. What the forget was I thinking.

I miss MagickMage. He was a beacon of hope in this cesspit of college aged users arguing with teens, trying to play with virtual legos.

Games / Re: Left 4 dead 2 new update

Iím honestly low-key excited for this. Iíd still go back and play L4D1 because Valveís porting of the original campaigns and survivors was so half-assed, and you needed a bunch of mods to fix stuff, and even then there was still some missing stuff. But on the other hand playing on L4D1 you donít get Realism or Iron Man mode.

But this update heavily focuses on L4D1, and from the changelogs theyíve pretty much fixed everything Valve neglected, and when it comes to Solo/Campaign, and Survival, thereís nothing whatsoever missing, bugged, or incomplete when it comes to the L4D1 content in L4D2.

are you dumb

Can you elaborate or are you just going to keep being aggressively vague to fit in with the big kids?

I honestly canít remember that last time his server was the Blockparty instead of Speedkart.

I do miss when Badspotís dedicated server was a themed free build instead of the GoKart mini game all the time.

Was doing some inspections at these Section 8 housing apartments once in my hometown and had to go to the basement, which was accessed by an outdoor concrete staircase on the side of the building.

Nice big human stuff at the bottom of the stairs, along with some discarded needles. Good times.

Honestly thought this was Blockland with ReShade at first. Does Brickadia still have it's default ugly Blockhead, or has someone made a Blockland ripoffversion yet?

Looks great though Tony, liking the progress.
