You fumble to even grab your vest as the waves eventually start to push you back to shore further from the ship. How long were you away at sea? You can't even see the boat any more. However, there is something in the distance. Are those trees? There appears to be a forest on the horizon further inland!
Give the wolves magazines, they LOVE to read.
Fortunately, there are no wolves that followed you from the ship. Today is your lucky day. Well, apart from everything else that happened.
You have no idea what a lowborn even is! How can you become one?
sob because you just messed up a totally radical backflip because of the wolves; swear revenge on all wolf kind because of this
Regardless, you decide to head towards the forest. Perhaps that is where the rest of the crew went. As you walk, you can't help but shed a few tears for your actions back at the boat. You were completely and utterly unprepared for those wolves, but not only that, you messed up a sweet flip. Eventually, you decide to come back to the coast and eliminate them all.

As the forest draws nearer, you pick up on the footprints from the ship again, leading through the sandy grass ahead of you. At least the blood on your head has dried. Wait, what is that? You see a glimmering object in the denser grass up ahead between you and the forest! Maybe it could be one of the crew? Or is it something else?
Either way, you should decide what action to take.

Your leg remains firmly attached to your torso, despite your frantic pulling.
leap into the water with a totally radical backflip; wolves hate the ocean and extreme radness
Of all the memories that have strayed into your mind, doing backflips is one of the most feasible options that comes up. You weakly get up and run towards the side of the boat, preparing yourself to do the raddest of all flips off of the ship. One of the wolves lunges forward, his teeth snagging onto your jeans and tripping you up. There is an audible metal clanging noise as your thighs smash into the railing and you do a not-so-graceful frontflip into the water, your body hitting the water with a loud thwap. The pencil and the pill bottle go flying out of your hand as you do so, getting lost to the ocean blue.
make a healing potion from a nearby brewing stand
i dont think we have any glowing mushrooms
As much as you would love a healing potion right now, there is no brewing stand nearby, nor are there any mushrooms to brew it with. Wait, are healing potions even a thing? Your memory really is fuzzy as your body starts to get sucked out into the ocean.

Clamor up onto the boat and arm yourself with pencil and then
accept how screwed you are
You barely manage to scramble your way up onto the ship while the wolves are distracted by the phone, pulling out your trusty pencil and holding it tightly to your chest. Within moments, you can hear them circling around the boat, sniffing for a way in. They will probably find the hole in it soon enough. You shake your head. Could this really be the end? You don't want to die without remembering anything, but that's how the situation is looking.
read pill bottle to discover what you just ate
You quickly try to find something to distract yourself from the unpleasant thought of being eaten, your hands trembling as you look at the pill bottle. It was unlabeled when you first ate the pills, and no label has appeared since then. Figures.
eat ALL the pills and go berzerk rage on those loving wolves
You already ate all of the pills! They haven't given you anything so far, except for a cramping feeling in your stomach, and that isn't going to scare the wolves off. You wish this was some fantasy island where everything worked out for you, but this isn't the case whatsoever. Maybe there is some way out of this, some version of this scenario where you don't die. Maybe if you...
consume the pill bottle.
eat the wolves
EAT THE MAGANIZES
bash your head against a rock to get the voices out of your head
Bash the rock against your head to get the voices out of the rock
bash your voices against your rock to get the head out of your
...You're going to die. You hear the clanking of metal as the wolves make their way into the boat, knocking over containers as they emerge onto the deck of the boat, staring you down and advancing towards you, their snouts locked in a vicious snarl.
Throw empty maganizes at them, this will most likely scare them off.
In an act of desperation, you pull two of the rifle magazines from your vest, throwing them at the wolves. They miss completely, flying off the side of the boat and splashing into the water. You always were bad at baseball.

It was in this moment that you wished that you'd received a higher education. However, due to the concussion and the drowsiness from just waking up, your brain is thinking some strange thoughts. After all, how else could you ignore the three wolves in front of you? Oh well.
You stumble over towards the water, rolling to escape from the wolves. They follow you at a distance, stalking your every movement. Once at the water, you look down into it. Half of your head is caked in dried blood, but you have short, dark brown hair and hazel eyes. Dull as always. You try to dunk your head in the water like an ostrich to escape from the wolves, but the sheer saltiness of the water and the stinging sensation on your wound doesn't allow you to stay under.
rip off your shirt to reveal your ripped body
Take of your black shirt to reveal your ripped body
Unfortunately, you are unable to rip your shirt off because the heavy ballistic vest will not allow it.
TAKE. ALL. OF. THE. PILLS
And hope for stereoids
You struggle to open the cap on the pill bottle, your hands shaking with fear. There are only three pills left, but you cram them into your mouth. Nothing happens. At least they're cherry-flavored.
   Nothing but saltwater now.
None of these actions turn on the phone. In a last effort, you throw the phone at the wolves.
The wolves consume the phone. It is a highly ineffective strategy, and the wolves still want to eat you.
   You highly doubt it.
You have no tools with which to do so.
Is there anything written on the notepad?
There are more important matters at hand!

and also check your pockets for anything like a phone, license or anything at all.
are you wearing clothes, do you have any items and what time of day is it?
So that's what you were forgetting to check. You look down at yourself. You are wearing a pair of work jeans, a black t-shirt (now half-sleeved), and... Huh, you never noticed, but you're wearing a tan, military-grade ballistic vest. That would explain your difficulty walking. Not only that, the front has bullet holes in it. Nothing got through, thankfully. The sun has just risen in the sky, so your guess is that you were thrown off of the ship sometime in the night. You begin to search the various pockets in your clothing, finding a bunch of empty firearm magazines, a waterlogged phone that won't turn on, a wet notepad complete with pen and pencil, and a bottle of unlabeled pills. Probably should leave those alone.
plunder the ship for any delicious sand or anything that can help you find out what happened
As much as you would love to eat more sand right now, you're fairly certain that all of the sand tastes the same. The U.S.S. Pannester appears mostly undamaged. That is, apart from the massive hole gouged into its side. A brief search of the ship reveals no personnel, no food, no weapons, and no water. However, there are a large number of footprints in the sand leading inland away from the wreck. For now, though...
You are even more certain that you have some form of concussion. Besides, there aren't even any trees around at the moment.
Right now, all you can think about is rest. You collapse into the sand, taking precautions to make sure that sand doesn't get into the wound on the back of your head that you are still keeping pressure on. Slowly, you drift into the dark world of unconsciousness. Faces pass you, voices, memories... Bygone dreams. Then you hear barking. You awake suddenly, sitting up and kicking yourself towards the ship so that your back is facing the metal. In front of you are three wolves. And boy, do they look hungry.

eat the sand to gain its grain powers
drink your blood and gain its powers
As you feel the back of your head underneath your hair, blood drips slowly onto your fingers, which are already wet and coated in grainy sand. In a dazed confusion, you decide that the next logical step would be to try and gain powers to assert your dominance over the island. You feel a strange sense of disappointment as you stick your fingers into your mouth only to find that no such powers exist. Instead, you are left with the taste of copper and grains of sand floating in your saliva, which there is very little of. You are absolutely parched. It feels like years since you've had a drink.
Your thoughts stray over a different solution to the problem as you glance around, searching for any materials to use as a bandage. There are no trees around. Where the coast meets the land there is only a grassy field stretching beyond you. For now, a piece of clothing will have to do. You tear off one of your sleeves,
wrapping it around your hand and pressing it firmly to your wound, sending a sharp pain through your skull. At least it distracts away from the copper taste.

You stumble like a drunkard as you stand up, your vision blurred and your movements slow and sluggish. You begin making your way along the coast, hoping that by some chance your ship will be somewhere along it looking for you. That's when you see it. The sun reflects brightly off of the shiny metal surface of the boat washed up in the distance. Even with your blurred vision, the sight jogs your memory. It's the ship you were sailing on. As you approach closer, you can just make out the name of the vessel...

your name is Nigel Scrungleguntfordshire the third
the names bond.... james bond....
Raymundo Rocket’s the name and being lame is my game
Your memories begin fading back. A few names cross your thoughts. For now, the name James Nigel Raymundo will have to do. The name does nothing to help your splitting migraine, but at least you have some semblance of thinking going. You sit up and take a glance at your surroundings. The beach appears to be barren apart from coral rocks and seashells scattered wildly across the sand.
bang head on rock to stop pain
Your mission is to become the one true king of this island.
As much as you would love to end your life right now, it appears that the cause of the pain in the first place was indeed banging your head on a rock. On accident. When you fell off of the ship. Right now, you need to come up with a purpose, and nothing sounds better than exploring this island and making it your home, your castle, even. You could be a king! Unfortunately, a dead king is not a happy king, and right now blood is trickling down the back of your skull.

What should you do now?

You wake up slowly to the sound of ocean waves crashing against the shoreline and seagulls cawing in the morning breeze. Currently, you are laying upwards on a beach that you do not recognize. The entirety of the previous night is all a blur to you—the last thing you remember is being on a ship before a massive storm threw you overboard. Not only that, you have forgotten who you are, where you were going, and what kind of ship you were sailing. A throbbing pain shoots through the back of your skull as all of these thoughts hit you at once. Perhaps it would be easier to focus on one at a time. What was your name, again?

marines are a specific branch of the army
Please don't tell me you think that the Marines are a branch of the Army. The Army and the Marines are both separate branches of the United States military, along with the Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard.

i think you've misread that sentence, it would only be "self-defeating" if INH had posted the information himself.  unless you're saying "keep private on a public forum" is a self defeating statement, which it isn't... cus it ain't a statement.
Wow, ten pages added and now it's in drama so I can't edit...
I see what you mean, I misread the sentence, I saw the words "public" and "private" together so I jumped the gun. Technically, isn't everything you post on the Internet public, though? It's kind of hard to keep stuff private unless you specifically mark it so that no one else can see it.

also posting something that someone clearly wanted to keep private on a public forum is probably one of the biggest richard moves I can think of
Well, this is a self-defeating statement if I've ever seen one.

I'd have to say my top three are:
- Captain Kirrahe's speech in Mass Effect
- The final space battle against the Reapers in Mass Effect 3 (My gosh was that epic)
- The last talk with Anderson in Mass Effect 3
There's plenty more out there, but these moments are my favorite.

Because most writers are human.
I don't think this article is talking about the same thing. I'm talking from a technology standpoint, not how many show up in the movie. I liked Star Wars because humanity was on the same level as the rest of the galaxy.
