You just sound rather bored to me.
I think the first step is to get a general idea of what you want to "brainstorm" about.
Just bluntly "thinking" doesn't lead you anywhere.
But if its random ideas you want to "take note on", I think that's called day-dreaming.

You have to make sure your processor and your motherboard are both compatible.
So how would I ,er, know if they are compatible or not?
