A while back I asked you guys what sort of picture editing program I could use to make images transparent, or isolate something in a photo and give the rest a sort of white background.

Here are some examples from Brickshelf (a LEGO gallery site)

So, I have a couple of questions:

What is the exact process to isolate that one part of the picture, getting rid of everything else?
Should there be a certain surface that I put the thing against, or does it not matter?

Not little green men. Weird things that we have never seen before, that depend on materials we don't know of, and they have six eyes and tentacles or something.

 What technological level are they in/Or not.

About the level of most of our common animals, or maybe up to primates.
 
Are they friendly?

If simple animal instincts and/or implanting an embryo in your throat is considered friendly.
 
How will they respond to us?

With fear, at first. Then they may grow more and more used to us. They may even become aggressive.
 
How will we respond to them?

Probably try to study them, then get tired of trying to be peaceful and blow the living stuff out of their planet. Or maybe not.
 
What is your understanding of life?

Does not compute.
 
What if they are more intelligent then us, can can they do that we cannot?

We could probably negotiate with them, and form an alliance, or screw something up and they'll exterminate our whole race.

Chao has recently been hosting a server called "MAX Challenge."
There are 11 levels to the thing, once you beat it, you can freebuild on a little platform.

Everything was going pretty fine until Chao had to leave. He gave admin to someone named "nightelf21," who went AFK about 10 minutes later.

For a while, nobody realized that absolutely no one was monitoring the server. Then, people tried building steps from the freebuild platform to the challenge, but an invisible killing wall blocked them off. Several players began spamming rainbow baseplates and zonebricks all over the platform, making it near-impossible to build anything new.

Then, a player called Curse built some kind of checkpoint spawn, causing every new player to the server to spawn in the freebuild area, preventing anyone from playing the challenge. This caused more and more people to jumble around, and since they couldn't build, they were shouting "OMG Y DO THEY GET 2 BUIDL?!11"
And soon the server became littered with a clusterforget of confused idiots.

I tried getting Curse to delete the checkpoint, but he said "no kid" and left.

Actually, I think some of you guys are overreacting about the whole ID thing.

When he says "another 22k moron" it isn't necessarily saying that all of them are morons. Just that

a. since they are new
b. many of them are younger kids

They don't really know what to do.

Once, I saw a guy with the default avatar building in all red. I assumed he was new. So I helped him out, told him not to use the 1x1x9s for walls, etc.

He was still building a ridiculously spammy thing, but I decided to let it go. Then I looked at his ID- and it was 35-- something.
