Actually, I bought a Mac because that's what I think is best...
It does everything I need it to do, and more.

Even with that minimal usage, I have experienced many software failures requiring a reboot.  Failures such as not being able to rename things on the desktop (you could start renaming but then could not type, keyboard worked in other applications) or  Desktop icons resorting every time I clicked on them, making it impossible to click on things.  
Just recently, there was a system update from apple and after installing it (which of course, takes like 2 hours during which you cannot use your computer) it loving would not boot anymore.  
 
The problem is that Apple actively markets to people who are simultaneously rich and ignorant.  

I've never had those problems... It's best not to use individual experiences as data in such a "heated debate."
And this goes both ways.

@ rich and ignorant: So, I'm "rich and ignorant?" Rich, because I can afford "an overpriced piece of stuff?" And ignorant, because I wouldn't know "what a real computer" is?
