Off Topic / Passenger Road Rage [True Story]

So, today my parents and I awoke very early to go to Albany Medical Center for my mom to have a procedure done.
On the way there, we were at a stoplight with an awful lot of traffic heading every direction. Our light turned green so we proceeded through the intersection, only to be cut off by some small white girl in a white Hyundai. This bitch that cut us off had the nerve to give us the finger and repeatedly say "forget you" (I read her lips, couldn't hear her.) My mom was sitting in the back seat, watching the whole situation for about a whole three seconds before she jumped out of the car and started to attack the woman's car. My mom is a rage-a-holic sometimes, so you can imagine how vigorously she was attacking the bitch's vehicle. I had to quickly get out and attempt to pull her away from the car she was hitting, while at least thirty other drivers watched the entire situation. I finally got her back into the car and we took off, surely leaving the ho-bitch-ass-white-slut scared stuff-less. My dad must have been used to this happening, because he didn't seem too surprised.

tl;dr

My mom jumped out of our car and beat on another woman's car for cutting us off and giving us the finger. True story.

Pretty self-explanatory poll yet again. Since most of you are in school still this will be easy.

I have had a lot of beautiful teachers in my day. My eighth grade math teacher was like a barbie but normal size. She was the only reason I passed that stuff. My neo-national socialist English teacher for most of high-school used to be a model. A bitchy model I'm sure.

So who has had a hot teacher?

...and we can't forget about you homoloveuals- any of you guys ever want to stuff back and forth with your male science teacher or Sunday school guide?

Hello there forumgoers.

I am building a computer for a client. It needs to be a desktop PC with a full size case. It needs to be good for entry level games and high-def media. No monitor needed. Budget is around $495. I already have a GPU ready for it.

I could do this on my own, but I would much prefer to let you folks tell me what to purchase.

Pretty much the title. I have a really good idea for an android/ios app that I want to begin developing. I need programmers I guess. I can help make some of the visual stuff, but I can't program for stuff.

So what should I do? Do any of you guys wanna help me, or know where I can get a few independent programmers?

If you hadn't heard, Rockstar Games has produced a new Max Payne game- Max Payne 3.

As stated recently by your favorite internet troll,

Max Payne 3 looks pretty promising at this point.

Whatever though, let's cut the bullstuff.
   The game is supposed to have superb multi-player, featuring special 'bursts' of different particular powers such as line-of-sight bullet-time, and speed boosts or some stuff.



The game is being constructed with the Rockstar Advanced Game Engine and the Euphoria game engine, so we can expect the graphical aesthetics and physics to be comparable to those of the upcoming GTA:V.
Max Payne 3 is scheduled to arrive on PS3 and 360 in two days (May 15th NA, 18th EU/AU), and on PC later in May.

If I get some good work in the next week or two, I may purchase it for PC. There is a video (part one of two) on the linked site below that has an in-depth brown townysis of multi-player. It's completely worth watching, and will make you want to purchase the game (Assuming that the beauty or R.A.G.E doesn't compel you to already.)

Off Topic / Networking Solutions via Repeaters

Hey y'all. For those of you who haven't heard, I love to play with networking devices. I am currently in the process of helping my neighbors expand their wireless coverage. I have provided a picture created with MS Paint to help you visualize my situation.

Basically, I have a gateway connected to an apple AirPort AP. The wireless signal distributed by the AP is being repeated by a- you guessed it- wireless repeater. I installed the wireless repeater the other day, and it seemed to help a lot. The red wavey lines show signal strength before the repeater. The similarly shaped black lines represent the repeated signal- (as determined by a WiFi brown townyzer.)



I haven't checked, but I know that none of the wireless signal is getting into the barn. I need the whole property to the right of the river to have reliable wireless coverage. I can only spend another $80, so I feel like most of you are going to say "get something + dd-wrt." My main concern is the barn. Right above the little -90dbm mark (which isn't too accurate) is the farthest distance away that we successfully loaded a webpage.

So guys, do you think I should get one really good repeater, two decent ones, two or three old routers with dd-wrt, or something else?

Hay guise. I know that most of you are rock&rolloldcigarettes (and that's perfectly fine) but I am going with some friends to see Mac Miller perform tonight. You may have heard of him; he is a hip-hop rapper from Pittsburgh or something. He is very funny looking and is actually good at rapping for a basic white guy.

Games / Making Garry's Mod Machinima, need actors and writers.

Pretty self-explanatory; I am making machinima and I need help. I have a 10-slot server with a few good maps uploaded to it.

Basically, I want to create a story in which a few of the CT's from Counter-Strike wake up in a strange forest after drinking too much during a celebration party. They will occasionally have flashbacks to a party at CS_Office (in an effort to remember why the are in a strange forest) as they try to find better weapons, shelter, food, and safety from strange G-mod native enemies. It will be a mini-series, with approximately ten five-minute videos total.

Off Topic / Getting Certified [Computer and Networking Systems]

Hello comrades,

I ask upon you due to your incredible collection of insight and wisdom.

I fix computers. I am going to be getting my CompTIA A+ in the next few weeks. I've read through the 1000+ page book by Meyers a few times and have practiced in the field for years, and a friend of mine who is much less experienced recently aced it.  Immediately after I get it, I want to begin studying for another certification.  The next certification I plan to try to get is a CompTIA Network+, because apparently employers give you  cookies for having that one. I want to, immediately after passing the Net+, begin studying for one more certification. This is to ensure I have nice looking list of accomplishments when I want to get a job in the field.

I may go to college (again) for an associates degree in networking or comp-tech sometime in the next year or two.
