Unidentified Flying Objects

and encounters with such objects...

I see them all the time, although most usually at night. About two weeks ago, whilst watching the moon rise with three friends, we all spotted around six strange objects. They came and went over a period of about half an hour, some travelling slow and some shooting across the sky like a meteorite. They all went to the same area in the sky, yet originated from various areas. We had a camera and attempted to film this anomaly, but nothing in the sky was bright enough to appear properly on the camera. The objects were not travelling like satellites normally do, were not blinking like planes, and had a strange but constant luminescence. They were most definitely disc shaped, and couldn't have been much more than four miles altitude.

Someone released a semi-functional Nintendo 64 alligator for Android. It's on the market under
N64oid. It costs about five dollars.

I tested a few games, using an HTC Incredible. Super Mario64 performed very well,
but was unique in doing so. Star Fox was almost okay, and Super Smash Brothers had a few
decent moments, but Fzero was the only other one that performed at a reasonable level.

The developer of the application clearly states it is not 100% stable, but improvements are
en route.

« on: February 22, 2011, 10:17:31 AM »

We all know of the harmful things that can occur when we put too much of something unsafe in our system. (Namely, research.) Millions of people all across the world (mostly fat Americans) suffer from obesity due to poor diet. Millions of children and adults worldwide have diabetes and heart disease resulting from diet. Obesity is plaguing America.

We have very little control over almost everything in our tiny spec of an existence, but we can usually control what we eat. Remember, a healthy diet isn't only the controlling of what you eat. It's having a healthy lifestyle. How is your diet?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A - 95+% Organic food consumption. No HFCS intake at all. Low sugar intake, balanced diet. High level of exercise.

B - Eats fresh or local food occasionally. Rarely consumes HFCS in any way. Has a fairly balanced diet. Exercises a little bit.

C - Consumes a lot of processed foods. Drinks soda with HFCS regularly. Scattered or infrequent exercise.

D - Rarely eats fresh fruit or vegetables. Consumes a high level of processed/HFCS foods or foods with high sugar levels such as cake/ice cream. Reasonable exercise is uncommon.

E - Eats no fruits or vegetables. Consumes a high level of Mountain Dew and stuff that came out of a vacuum sealed bag. Can't move well enough for regular exercise. Is likely to be fat.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*note:

If the scale doesn't seem to fit you right, average yourself out. If you never consume HFCS but don't ever exercise for example, you would be around a C in that aspect. Factor in how balanced your diet it and thats your score.
People with certain illness, [generally endocrine related,] may not be properly represented in this chart.  Accuracy is not guaranteed.

If anyone has any suggestions feel free to troll me until I fix.

I am not one for snack foods, but these are incredible. I spend most of my time eating nuts & berries like most of my kind, but when I cheat on healthy eating this is a win.

There are twelve characters, all recognizable if you grew up in the 90's.

Does anyone still play this game? I am forced to dominate my friends on a semi-regular basis. My best characters are Captain Falcon, Ness, and Link, however I annihilate with every character. [This includes Jiggly-puff.]

Also: Any of you programmers have any clue if it would be possible to modify the game and implement some sort of online multi-player? I would bet it is impossible but I am not sure.

If you think you have it all figured out, select choice two.

If you are aware you are a meaningless finite being and plan to die as such, numero uno.

Off Topic / Dual-Monitor Displays
« on: November 26, 2010, 09:18:51 PM »

After Thanksgiving Dinner at my brother's house, I stayed up until 1AM fixing and refurbishing all of his computers, then networking a stuffty wireless printer that has a lemon ass WPS. The next day I had to do more stuff for him, but after a while he decided we should go to staples and get a bunch of monitors that were on sale. I said om'kay and so we got four monitors, two Dell 20", an AoC 21.5", and an Acer 20". My current home monitor was an Acer 20", and because I helped him out with his computers his rich ass gave me a new 20" monitor. Gotta love Black Friday. So now I have two Acer 20" monitors running in side by side. I can play GTAIV or Blockland on the right one whilst enjoying a healthy addiction to Facebook. The pretty lights in the background are my speakers, modem, and my wrt54g.

Anyone else have pictures of their setup? It'd be cool if someone had tri 22" ones.

After seeing the post on Rock vs. Rap, I figured that making a poll on all music in general might have a smidget of productive value. Anyway, what are you favorites?

Personally, I like 80's/90's rap like Eazy-E, N.W.A, The D.o.C., Big-L, etc.
...also I enjoy rock music and whatever Steve Miller Band is. Alternative is cool but sometimes bores me. Country needs to die except for T-Swizzle because she can rhyme like a champ.

note: If you say yes to both options 1 and 6 it means you probably like punk rock too.

When I first came to the forums a few years ago things were different. If you used poor grammar you didn't just get quoted three posts down and called a handicap. If you did something as simple as typo you would be trolled endlessly. Idk what is happening to you all but I don't like it. I come here to be h4rr4a53d and t0rm3nt3d on a regular basis.
