denying appeals is bizarre
seems like youtube works a lot better as a video upload site than a discussion site
alright for streaming but the chat needs a rework and sometimes the stream doesn't show up for a while

122
ah, so the anti-bot spam detection had a lot of false positives in one stream
deleting right away sounds annoying, would be better if somebody checked if there was a large group all at once
could be an attack on the streamer, or just shenanigans that they're doing in the stream
hard for the protection to tell

123
what happened?
people got banned or something for naughty things?

also, did you know a twelve-pack of beer is almost as calorie-dense as gasoline
as a gallon of gasoline?
or just beer in general is, and that it's a twelve pack is irrelevant?

personally i've had problems way more frequently with windows than linux and i've been using windows for like the past 13 years of my life
i've pretty much only had issues with windows
i just figured i've had more issues with windows due to using it more
but like, windows has some huge issues sometimes

2GB of RAM is fine for a headless server installation of ubuntu
for using chrome and youtube, it would probably struggle a lot

i've only really used it as a server, in which it works great
used it once to put youtube on a monitor from a friends desktop, and controlled it from my laptop/phone by remoting in, and it was alright, but wouldn't recommend it over windows for actually doing stuff on

I have a VM set up but its slow as forget. Like it just freezes when I start firefox.

Windows 10 ran much smoother and stable than Ubuntu on my stuffty 2008 computer. It can barely play a youtube video.
running a VM on bad hardware sounds dreadful
and are you comparing windows 10 in a VM to ubuntu in a VM?
or windows 10 to ubuntu, both out of VMs?

imagine paying money for cosmetics in the first place
seems like a lot of people do it
according to google, "The beauty industry is valued at $532 billion and is on a rapid upward trajectory"
that's a fair bit of cash

130
and can probably modify that to also work on spawn

131
if I ONLY want to play sounds to the client
do you mean with the defaults, or removing the defaults

playing with the defaults should be easy
playing without the defaults would require removing the defaults somehow
you might be able to overwrite the default sounds, similar to how you can do that with textures

132
seems like all the spawn stuff is in one function
Code: [Select]
function GameConnection::createPlayer(%client, %spawnPoint)
{
[...]

%p = new Projectile ()
{
dataBlock       = spawnProjectile;
initialVelocity = "0 0 0";
initialPosition = %player.getHackPosition();
sourceObject    = %player;
sourceSlot      = 0;
client          = %client;
};

[...]
}

so i guess for that either need to remove/change how the spawn explosion works
or overwrite all of the spawning code?

Help / Re: Whenever i make a server in custom this happens
« on: October 21, 2019, 02:07:47 AM »
you could try
setting your coordinates in the console
respawning
or loading a map and creating a minigame to spawn at one of the spawn points

also does this only happen with certain addons enabled?
do you have player persistence on?  when you were last on you may have been way up in the air

from what people posted here, it sounded like literally somebody else took the cuphead characters and just redrew them and put them in a different setting/new bosses

from what the video looks like, it's just another platformer, perhaps slightly more cartoony than most

kind of reminds me more of castle crashers than cuphead
