Listen, im not going to pay 900$ to play loving earthbound (Just an example). I would buy it but if the company offers no legal way of getting the game then i would use an emulator. Games are like books and contain history and nostalgia. Vacuums and cars aren't similar to books and they don't offer anything other than being obsolete. I understand emulating more modern games like the wiiu and wii are bad because you can still get those from the original seller and is offered a legal way of playing it by the company. So i would support the downloading of roms and emulators as long as if you had the game already or there is no legal way offered by the company that owns it.
You shouldn't have to pay a ludicrous amount of money just to play a classic game, the company doesn't even get the money.
If video game company's remove a rom they should have a legal way of playing it in the future.
