That and I'm sure he'd notice if the mod is 0kb.
Actually, you can't even have an empty .zip, it has to have something in it to compress.
Throw Iban's mod in the zip file or something.

heh! lolwut? Does i have a hacker reputation??? oh my! you have to now, like many others people here, we all want good private mods. I think that if a mod is private, it's because the creator does not want to give it for any reasons, and i respect this.
Edit: im 200% sure diggy wont chose anyone here (me too) to host, he will keep wizzard. I dunno why, im sure of it.
I wasn't saying you were a hacker, I was just using you an an example of what would happen if diggys mod fell into the wrong hands. Looking back, I should have used Kal.

Wouldn't Diggy have to give the mod to Sylv?
I'm not quite sure how to explain this.
Yes and no, I assume Diggy would have his own user account on Sylv's server, which Diggy can access remotely from his computer.  However since it is on Sylv's server, if Sylv really wanted the mod, he could hack into Diggy's user files on the server and take it. This would be another reason why Diggy needs someone he can trust to host.

Edit: Keep in mind, I really have no idea how remote server hosting really works. My explanation is all just based on my intuitive assumption.

Something happened to cross my mind yesterday. If you guys want this server up, why don't you DONATE some cash and make it possible? Granted it wouldn't really be possible for diggy to rent a server still, but he would be able to at least fix his old computer which used to, back in the day host the server, and it hosted quite well.

BTW, what are the specs of diggys broken computer anyway?

You don't just make one.
You need a servers with excellent internet connection. Normally you would rent out space in a datacenter.
It's one of those "need money to make money" situations.
My internet is only half excellent.

Kalphiter
You should read this whole thread. You will never see Kalphiter the same way again.

I really want the server to run at full capacity. He should think of purchasing a more professional host.

Who in their right mind would rent a server to host a blockland server?

Edit: Heck, its prolly cheaper and more worthwhile for Diggy to fix/upgrade his computer.

Well, I've given up on wizzard's hosting, so now i'm trying to host it myself without much success. I'll either have to find someone who will host it for free or fix my other computer that might be capable of running it.

What exactly broke on your other computer?

I find Newegg an excellent source for my newer computer parts, and Ebay for used inexpensive parts.

Edit: Newegg seem to have some nice CPU+Motherboard combo deals right now. Although I'm not a big fan of AMD, you can get an AMD Phenom II Quad core and a motherboard to go with it for $150. The least expensive deal  I happened to see was $89. Of course this doesn't cover the cost of the ram or any other components you may need, but its a good start. I personally was surprised to see that 1GB sticks of DDR3 ram were as cheap as $10.

guys, just don't worry about it. If you've waited a whole year for it, I think you can survive for another week.

Its actually only been about 4-5 months....

That would be the opposite of now.

I'd like to remove that "no killing without reason" rule and in place of it put in a "no complaining when people kill you" rule.
I think that's already being removed. It's a dumb rule, because it only happens due to the lack of a good police force.
I always seemed immune to that rule, cuz I always killed people anyway and never got in trouble for it. Then again running over people is always considered to be an accident anyway, even though it most certainly was intentional.

Nope, Custard isn't as crazy-ass-secret-tunnel oriented as Diggy.

Who needs tunnels? Just use a manhole that you can't jump out of.

Another downside about the last jail is you couldn't blow it open with explosives.

oh, and also, if you're ever convicted, prepare to get your feet wet. We didn't build the jail with plumbing in mind.

Lets hope we can escape from this jail with the help from someone else.
