Didn't see anything like this, so I'm throwing it in here if anybody wants it. Made it over a year ago.

Technically this is a repost, however it was never put in its own topic before so this should make it easier to find.

It's several different parts of Asgore's theme looped up to meet your musical needs.
Use events to play different parts during different levels of intensity, etc.; practically the whole song is in there.
You can check the properties of the files to know how long they are in order to loop them easier.

Music / Attack on Titan Loops

Attack on Titan Loops

What is this?
This is a collection of several loop files (.ogg) from one particular song out of the Attack on Titan soundtrack.

CLICK HERE to listen to the full song that these files are from.

It's a good song, so I decided to chop it up into segments.

The read_me.txt file includes a list of the lengths (in milliseconds) of each loop. I'm sure you'll find out how they
are compatible with eachother. This format allows you to use a combination of inputs and relays to dynamically modify
the sequence of the song using events, and even scripts.

I think you guys will like this, especially if you're fond of the show.

If you aren't familiar with this show, I suggest you go watch it. It's an anime available on netflix,
it's not fully released yet but there are 25 episodes. It is not suitable for some, as it is violent,
dramatic, gory and intense. Not to mention pretty depressing sometimes. You've been warned.

General Discussion / What happened to Singleplayer?

In light of the recent DDoS attacks, something came to my attention that I think should be crucial;

Access to the bloody game.


If the master server is down, that shouldn't mean that the entire program gets locked out for us - that's not the way it used to be, and I don't see any reason why it should. Perhaps the launcher could use a little update, instead of relying on a direct master server connection to authenticate and verify the game. I understand that this feature was implemented and that feature removed for a reason, but I don't understand why I should not be allowed to play the game if this kind of thing happens.

If anybody knows how to work around it and get me into my singleplayer server so I can at least make build progress on my own, please let me know. I have alot to do and it isn't being done because the launcher won't work.

I don't expect to need an internet connection to play a single player game, it's almost literally pointless in that aspect to even include a singleplayer functionality altogether in the game. There has to be another way of making sure the player is using a legitimate copy of Blockland rather than forcing everybody through this one giant bottleneck that once sabotaged, breaks everything for everyone. Not only is it a monstrosity of a design flaw, it's ruining the design entirely by making it literally disable itself - and I can almost see why someone would target the master server for a DDoS attack, especially since it's evidently the one thing holding the entire game together now.

Not everybody knows this secret "hush-hush don't tell anyone" work around that allows for them to play, and it's not as unfair that people play the game for free as it is that people who bought the game don't even get to play it at all. At least provide them with a way around the problem, and don't make it this huge legal deal. Obviously the design forgeted up somewhere, not the players - they don't deserve to be locked out of the knowledge of how to make their retail item work, even temporarily.

I just want to make it apparent that relying on internet connection to keep pirates from playing the game is not an elegant strategy, as seemingly opposed to multiple gaming companies' opinions. It's clear now and the DDoS attacker clearly sees it too. If something happens to the bottleneck, the whole system collapses. It needs to be reinvented if people want to actually play the game in this kind of situation, or else if this ever happens again we'll all be sitting here hoping for the best case scenario to work itself out in the next couple of weeks.

Edit:
I believe there is a way to at least get Singleplayer access, and possibly access to the server list - even got it to authenticate my BL_ID more than once.

I can confirm that having

master2.blockland.us

open in a tab on your browser will allow you to connect not only to the game itself, but also to some servers. My authentication is checking out, my login name is up and the game is basically working again.

Let me know if this works, or if it doesn't work for some - it seems to be the most reliable method for me.

Modification Help / Dynamic Fog Density?

Would it be possible to make a map have a sort of "gradient" fog to it? Like say you're down on the ground, you can see up to 5000 bricks and everything else past that is blue, and if you look up, the sky looks blue as well

but as you ascend higher and higher the fog recedes to reveal a skybox that actually resembles space

Is this at all possible in blockland?

Suggestions & Requests / No-Player-Collision Player

Since I'm still very new to the concept of Torque (and if it is possible), I would like
to request that a new player datablock be made; the No-Collision Player.

Specifically for Challenges and such, the No-Collision player is simply a playertype
that cannot collide with other players - whether of the same type or not, does not
matter - in order to prevent blocking and assisted jumps / glitches.

Also if the generous contributor has time and patience;

FPS No-Collision Player
Jets No-Collision Player

Anybody interested in executing this request successfully will receive my gratitude.

Modification Help / shakeCamera function?

What's the function for this, or how can I go about using it with a schedule?
For example, I've noticed in many weapons that when you fire, it shakes the camera.

Let's say I have successfully proved and argument, offered tangent and relevant facts, and over-compensated my impatience and inability to deal with children by overwhelming their feeble minds with words they have not even come to fathom yet.

Result?
I have just become;

+Egotistical (Because making somebody else look stupid while proving your point means you're constantly patting yourself on the back, telling yourself how good of a job it was)

+Troll (Because you didn't start it, but you won't finish it by letting me win, obviously making you a troll)

+richard (Because you are clearly a dangling, boneless slab of meat only good for reproduction and excretion of bodily fluids)

+handicap (Because you bothered trying to talk sense into them in the first place)

+Noob (Because you obviously haven't been playing long enough to know that nobody talks to me anyways)

+Wise-Guy (this one is actually not offensive :D)

+Asshat (Because you clearly have an Donkey on the hat you are currently wearing)

+Low-ID (Because "you sound like mr. spock" and they don't know why IDs wont show up in F2 anymore, so they just guess because they are the only one who know what they are talking about)

Clearly, if they do not win the argument, nobody does.
I'd like to apologize to anybody I previously called anything in this above criteria, especially Ephialtes concerning 'Egotistical'. I just recently came to the realization as to why everybody acts like they 'have a stick up their ass constantly' by actually taking initiative and putting myself in someone else's shoes instead of being a selfish, pompous know-it-all for once.

I'll leave you guys with this to take from it what you want. But for now, I will return to my daily chores, as for some reason, this Drama board does not produce the same amount of entertainment as I get from infatuating my cerebellum with THC and Reggae.

I was debating whether or not to post this in the drama section, however if it becomes
necessary it will probably be moved at any rate.

I'm aware of how old this video is now, so don't post stupid responses about the video's age
and how late I am that make you feel intelligent. You'll only be putting a hat on your head that
says 'richard'.

I accidently stumbled upon a video named "Three Guys One Hammer" today.
I am currently in the process of debating whether or not to ever go on
the internet ever again. That was the most sick, disgusting forgeted up
thing I have ever seen a human being capable of doing.

I apologize if I spark a fire of curiosity in your noggin, however if
you value your lunch, your joy and ultimately your soul, do not watch it.

The video is an actual MURDER. It depicts three kids (ages 18-20)
beating the life out of a man with a Hammer. They literally bludgeon his
face in, and then proceed to do the most despicable and disgusting actions
with his corpse I believe anyone has ever conceived to be possible by a
human being. Just to clarify, the video is not research-related in any
way. However, if you've seen 2 Girls 1 Cup (you know who you are, you sick
children), it doesn't come close to competing with the foul insanity of
the people in this video. And yes, the guy is DEAD.

Apparently, the three children (who currently reside in Ukraine) have been
convicted of 21 accounts First-Degree Murder, Battery, Torture, and numerous
accounts of Animal Torture. When questioned, the kids' responses to their
actions were simply "We did it because we wanted something to talk about
when we were older. We enjoyed it, and we picked on whoever we thought
wouldn't fight back." They have been in the process of being tried as adults
for years now, and continue to have convictions on top of convictions piling
up until today, I believe.

I am not aware of their current sentence time or if they are being put to
death.

The part that really haunted me was the fact that they even showed up at each
of their victims' funerals. After the funeral was over, the kids would film
themselves desecrating their grave, giving it the middle finger, pissing on it,
and even more.

The murderers said that before they began killing actual people, they would kill
cats for fun. They would tear the cats to shreds while still alive, and do
anything in their power to cause the cats as much harm as they could. The kids
also mentioned that they loved the adrenaline rush they would get from brutally
ending somebody's peaceful co-existing life.

How could any soul on this earth do such a thing in person, and enjoy it?
WHAT THE forget!

Ripping out somebody's intestines, and shoving screwdrivers into a person's
eye-sockets and skull isn't a hobby, you pricks. Your families were rich,
High-class people. Don't tell me you couldn't afford Deadspace or some stuff.
I honestly hope you would read this. You should let me embed a screwdriver
into YOUR nervous system and take you for a spin around the parking lot, and
see how you like the feeling.

I just hope that IF these kids are sentenced to death, they get bludgeoned in
the face by a hammer. Repeatedly. And while they are still slightly alive, stick
a screwdriver into their stomach and wiggle it around a little. I mean, it's
supposed to be fun, right? It'll give me something to talk about when I'm older,
don't you think?

Is there any command I can enter to increase the view distance on maps?

It's not in stores in the United States, you have to buy it off of Playstation network.
That's because it's extremely successful in Japan, and pretty much nowhere else.

Help / Too many events at once! (onActivate)

How do I increase the Event Limit or something?
This is really pissing me off.

It's been removed from the RTB Server Manager.
