Cloning plants has no downsides because plants are handicapped

You are right, although a single dinosaur has been found with intact soft tissues. We also have Mammoth soft tissue.
We already clone plants and have been for centuries.
Most plants in shops and things of the same breed are most likely all clones, being cuttings taken from the same original parent plant.

And it would be very interesting to see the cloning of a Mammoth.
I'm not sure where, but I did read somewhere that it is possible and hopefully planned to attempt to clone a Mammoth using preserved mammoth DNA and Elephant eggs.

And then we can all enjoy tasty mammoth burgers.

Someone doesn't understand how cloning works.

Its not like loving Jurassic Park. It takes more than that. You cant just magically bring back extinct species. You need alot of their genetic information.
So, I've been injecting bull frogs with ancient mosquito blood for no reason?

What about that movie with Arnold schwartznegger and his clone? Total recall? That would be a big issue with cloning
Total Recall is the one where Arnie is on Mars.

The one you're thinking of is The 6th Day.

I've never seen the I, Robot movie.
Is it as good as Forrest Gump?
It's completely different.
I, Robot is about a futuristic world inhabited by robots with AI, and are used by men.
They have certain rules in their AI which prevent them from doing certain things, such as hurting people or doing anything which would lead them to break any of their rules.
And basically, the AI in one model becomes able to overcome these rules and a robot uprising by these models is started.
And the only person who can stop it, is the Robo-Phobe Police Detective, Will Smith, who has a hatred of Robots due to a tragic event earlier in his life.

So, it's a good film, but it's not possible to compare it to Forrest Gump.
Very different. And Forrest Gump was a cult hit. I, Robot was good, but it doesn't quite match up in popularity.

Personally, I agree with the cloning of organs and tissue for use in medical surgery, but it would need to be perfectly tested out.
I don't think you'd ever truly get the cloning of complete humans off of the ground, simply because of the moral implications. Which you might say restrict science, but when it comes down to it, I don't see a reason to actually clone a human person. It wouldn't be much afterwards other than an issue of controversy.

kind of a little disappointing, not much expect promise that next update will actually get us somewhere

also more depressing feelings for cat
Well, the previous update was rather large.
And he did make a reasonably indepth flash game just before, so, I'd give him a little bit of a break.
I really enjoy the comic even if it takes a week for a new strip to come out.
I follow worse comics that take longer.

Looks really cool.
I really love mini-builds like these.

Also, did you mean to say "STAG Advanged Weaponry 03" or did you mean "Advanced"?
If so, then you've got a little typo in the title.

Since when has lolicon been illegal? As far as I know it has quite a large market in Asia.
The whole world isn't Asia though.

And when you get down to it, it is researchogoraphy based on young children or people who are designed to look like and completely represent young children.

Either cannabis needs to be legalized or cigarettes illegalized. Cigarettes are far, far worse for you than natural cannabis ever could be.
True, but when it comes down to it on a national level, the smoking of Tobacco is so wide-spread around countries and the world, that to try illegalising it would put out such a large amount of people that you would likely not get through with it successfully.
The use of cannabis isn't as widespread and it's not as socially acceptable, because of the mental effects it has on people.

Where a cigarette may just calm a person, cannabis puts them into a different and alien state of mind.
It's not pleasing to see if you're not high yourself.
So, it's not acceptable and people are happy for it to be illegal, whether it's less addictive, poisonous or deadly than Tobacco or other legal drugs, or not.

I agree on a scientific basis that there's nothing really there for a reason for existence, but the morals just don't work for me.

It sounds as if it's an excuse to be stuffty to people.
Whether you think that life has a true-purpose and meaning or not doesn't mean that you should condone violence and murder.
Because when you get down to it, scientifically, we don't have an ultimate purpose in life, other than to live.
We're here to survive and continue to exist.
My DNA codes for proteins designed to allow me to survive on this earth and pass on my Genetic Information to a next generation so that they too can live.
So, it is my moral prerogative to ensure the survival of members of my species to allow for a greater chance for my genetic information to be carried on and survive.

And for that reason, I have morals and I know that it is best for myself, my future and my species that I do not murder. I do not injure my fellow humans and I live as peacefully as possible with them.

1: Look at the Prohobition. When it was in effect, alcohol use actually went up because it was considered cool to drink illegally. Also, crime went of because of trafficking. After they ended it, alcohol use went down because it wasn't cool to drink illegally anymore
Prohibition was a little bit different.
Alcohol is a much-deeper rooted drug in society than Cannabis is or ever will be.
Alcohol has been brewed and drunk for thousands of years.

And concerning the prohibition of alcohol, alcohol was legal and entirely unquestioned for those thousands of years before it was ever made illegal.
And when I say that alcohol is deeply rooted in society, I do mean that. Historically, it's been a favoured drink for centuries. It was for long times the most common drink, even over water, because it contained fewer diseases and infectious things.

Whereas with Cannabis, it's not had that exceedingly long period of history where it's been taken as part of perfectly-normal behaviour for humans.
Even smoking large amounts of tobacco hasn't been around for that long in comparison.

When drinking was illegal, did people stop drinking? No, they just did it illegally.
Just mentioning as above, this is because Alcohol is so tied in with Human history that to make it illegal and then have that followed by everyone and agreed upon is virtually impossible.

I don't personally think that legalising cannabis use would decrease the number of people who do take it.
I'm certain that out of all the people who do use cannabis, only a tiny percentage decide to take cannabis solely because it's illegal and that makes it edgy and cool.

I don't agree with the use of Cannabis.
I personally do not agree with or like people smoking Cannabis or Tobacco, particularly in public areas.
While I know that Tobacco is illegal, and I dislike it, I wouldn't call for it to be made illegal however. But mostly due to it being such a long-held traditional thing that it wouldn't really be worth it to force it become illegal.
I just don't like being around people who smoke.

Which obviously includes people who smoke Cannabis.
I mostly just can't stand the idea of being in someone elses second-hand smoke.
I don't want to stand in a cloud of the crap that another person has coughed and breathed out of their lungs.
I know that Cannabis isn't that bad of a drug, in physical or even psychological terms, but I'd rather keep it, with Tobacco smoking, out of sight.

I'm happy with Cannabis being illegal.

Here's where people are going to post stupid stuff names and ruin the entire list.
Wedge seems to be doing a good job of moderating it.
Blockland and Minecraft were just re-entered, so they'll probably be removed soon.

And I enjoy watching what people have their mouse hovered over.
Seeing them hover over links to games, then disappear as they click them. :3

Most of the stupid stuff got deleted pretty quickly. Is 3D lovevilla a real game? I can't find it on wikipedia, so it must not be real.
Probably a phone game, which I doubt would necesarilly find it's way onto wikipedia.
