It has no relation to the idea that they are countries.

Just imagine that particular strip as another cartoon with different characters.
Ignore that they are countries.

It's just a comic about how a couple of people weren't invited to a quiet teaparty, and so pranked them in a creative way.

The fact that the series is then focussed around the embodiment of countries, is then used, and these guys are given characters from the series.
He could've made them any random country (Probably not Sister Japan though, as she typically has nosebleeds when aroused) and it would have been the same comic.

He just used the guys outside, because in other comics, they all mess around with Sweden.
He used the guys inside, because England, Japan and Sweden are supposed to be posh, and so could be seen having a teaparty together.

If you read the comics, you'd notice that he gives each of the countries a body, and slowly, they become more than just a stereotype of a country, but they also become individual characters and he protrays them as if they were different characters from any other sort of comic.
It's less "They are countries" and more "They are people, who sometimes represent their countries either as stereotypes or mimicking the news."

Just because a few get caught doesn't mean you can go "But they did it too!" and you get to do it all you want. If that's how life worked, there would be no order. Everyone would go "I can do this because this other person didn't get noticed before me!"
I wasn't complaining that it was unjust. And I never claimed it was unfair that others had gotten away with it too.

I was simply pointing out that this is the first time such a thing has happened, and there has been no warning about overtly bumping topics before. This is simply an oddity and doesn't happen normally.

Why are you telling me this? Tell this handicap:

I specifically said I didn't get how this worked with them representing whole countries. I get that people stereotype them as liking Yaoi and such. I know nosebleeds are symbolizing extreme excitement, usually loveually.

Again, what I'm not getting is the relation considering they're supposed to be whole countries, how this works together. (And I'm getting the guys outside are starfishs... I'm not getting inside)
Not only do they represent countries, which is made note off in certain comics which are more based on world politics, but the individual people are also characters.
They're not always representing the entire country that they are. In some, they're just people with slighty stereotypes in their character.

In the Teaparty (Not the Boston Teaparty) one, the joke is that the "posh" countries, England, Sweden and Japan are having a tea party, and haven't invited any of Sweden's Nordic neighbours, who are the slightly more laid-back, make jokes, annoy people characters.
Since they weren't invited, the two outside the window are watching, and pretending to make love to Germany.
Not as a stereotype of anything, it's just them using another person.
Obviously, "Sister Japan" (As he calls the females of the countries), like Yaoi and is being turned on.
As is seen in Manga and Anime, she has an explosive nose-bleed, which makes a mess, is disruptive of the teaparty and would then annoy England, Japan and Sweden.

It's their revenge for not being invited. So, they pull a prank on them.
This comic isn't about politics, and the characters inside are just there on stereotype, while the ones outside are just making a prank.

Anyway, with that one killed, I'll just say that I find them really funny. :)

Possibly because you'd bumped it 4 times without any extra activity going on.
Who ever locked it probably assumed that the topic was completely dead and you weren't going to get anywhere with it.

Still, I have seen topics that have had stuffloads of bumps in them before by the OP, without anyone else ever actively using the topic. I don't recall any of them being locked.

No she couldn't have, she had a broken leg, holy stuff the worse that could've happen is her leg being unusable.
A lot.
The simplest mistakes can kill in surgery.
Even in a very basic surgery, anything can happen, from infection (Which is rare, but not impossible), bleeding (Sometimes surgeons make a mistake and can cut parts of the body) to material being lost in the body, whether that's surgical equipment, bits of bone or other material that was already in the body damaging it.

This is why the option to take surgery is always, if possible, the last option to be taken.
Being put under the knife can still be risky, even in this day and age.

Congratulations on coming out healthily though.
Here's hoping you feel better all around soon.

I plan on buying this one soon

What would the slide behind the Scroll wheel be used for?
Or can you set it up to control different things like Volume?

Those egg mouses look really awkward to use. I like normal shaped mouses that are made for your palm to comfortably rest upon.

Basically Infinity Ward got sick with the Call of Duty franchise (I would be too. :/) and wanted to make something else. They either quit or got fired but they're working with another company which I can't remember. I also heard rumors they're working with Bungie?

If MW3 really is coming out then TreyArch is doing it.
Talk about fast, holy stuff these bastards are money whores. Knowing me though on how much I hate this stupid mainstream gaming I'll probably wind up buying it anyways.
Bungie actually denied that they were working together.

I probably won't be interested in it at first, and I won't play any multiplayer at all, simply because I don't like the games online, and the community is terrible anyway.
But, I will most likely find myself playing the campaign, like all over CoD games.

I'm in the beta.
Admittedly, I didn't sign up for it, my brother did, and thought I'd be interested in it instead, but still.

I've yet to play it though. It's downloading it's files.
Took about an hour and a half to nearly finish, then my internet connection knacked out for the first time this week, and the process had to entirely restart.
Shouldn't be long now, though, if nothing bad happens.

I lazily only played it the first time.

Does it bring in any more things to do after the Ball, Spikes and Squares?

2 weeks from a terrible inner ear infection.

Aaand technically I've been off of school for 2 weeks due to having a tonsilectomy.

A couple of weeks ago though, I did have a 2 week cold, which started as a normal cold, sort of died down by the end of the first week, and then came back with terrible ear pains and the deafening of my right ear.
I was at school the entire time. :c

I still want to know why this is in Creativity.
I don't think you will get an answer for that.

Atleast, not a respectable answer.
The topic is random, and the OP probably didn't have a clue what they were doing when they posted it here.

http://www.lemsip.co.uk/our_cold_and_flu_remedies/index.php

Lemsip things almost always help me feel better.
Otherwise I take a couple Ibuprofen tablets.

It might make you feel better, but it's not likely to remove the cold.
Unfortunately sickness is just one of those things we have to go through, regardless of how annoying it is.
It's best to just relax and try to feel well. You're likely going to be uncomfortable no matter what.
