Off Topic / Re: New YouTube Layout..
« on: February 25, 2011, 05:20:33 PM »
I don't really give two stuffs about how Youtube chooses to display their content and my subscriptions and stuff as long as I can type something into a search bar, return videos related to the thing I typed, and I can then click on that looks appealing and relevant and then watch it.
This.
I've never been one of those people who truly cares for subscriptions, or has to watch everything and gets addicted to it, or uses it all the time.
I like YouTube because it allows for the free-hosting of videos for anyone to see online.
I'd only ever use it if I've either been linked something by a friend, or I'm searching for something specific.
All the website needs to please me is the ability to view the videos I want to.

I can't even remember what the old YouTube looked like.

Wasn't that long ago.
Last year.
I believe around Spring time.

This is just snot being snot, and it makes sense and is a bit of random humour for anyone who knows the game.

Who wins??
He looks like a 10 year old in the second picture.
In the newer one, he just looks stupid. Especially with that ridiculous pose.

Yes. Only because you're probably fairly new here.

I'd do it.

But if the person below me says yes, do I have to give them my $100?

<3 Naked Gun

Sorry to hear about your dyslexia.
My father is dyslexic, and my brother has dysgraphia.

My brother gets to use a small netbook at school in lessons that are heavy in writing.
He's even allowed to use them in exams.
Are you not able to do the same?
Or would yours be different, as you have difficulty with spelling and/or word placement, and my brother just has difficulty with actually writing the physical words in a comprehensible way?

You should check with your school if they offer any additional support for it.

Mine is burning brighter than ever :o
Mine just won't die! :(

Awesome.
Do you get to test any once a batch is made?
Or do they pass that job onto someone else?

I've had this before.
There's nothing you can do about it, just let it fade away.
But it's the most uncomfortable thing ever.

I dab cotton wool in Olive Oil and place that in my ears. It soothes them a bit, but it does feel really awkward.
And you'll find a dry yellow powder in your ear afterwards, but it sort of stops the throbbing.
Generally trying to keep yourself occupied with something else, and taking your mind off of the pain also helps.

Sorry that you've got the pain, though. :(

The past two times that I've had a common cold, just after, as in 1-2 days after it seems to go, I get struck down with intense ear pain, I can feel the tubes in there closing down under pressure, and my head entirely aches.
To top it off, it only goes off in one ear, making it all the more uncomfortable, and that ear also goes completely deaf.
