Drama / Re: Ephialtes found a bug and spammed
« on: February 01, 2011, 07:34:34 PM »
why is kalph so obsessed with ephi anyways?
It's got something to do with their egos.
Kalphs is fairly big, but Ephi always finds a hole in the way he does things.

Then there was that whole Blockland Cloud and RTB Drama.
Kalphiter making a program that has similar features to RTB.
Which tied with his problems with Ephi, just led to it seeming like an attempted 1-up.

But, I'm not sure where the whole thing really started.
They've been (Or really, Kalph has, and Ephi joins in for his own entertainment) going at it for as long as I can remember.

it's kind of unfair for Ephi to just move this right to drama.
But, it's Drama? It fits the criteria of the Drama Board.

is that so weird :u
Nethog... has... no... eyes! D:

My school is less strange and odd, and more completely annoying.
Idiots who use my tutor room as a junk yard, and these are people who aren't even in my tutor group.

Lemme explain. :3
We have a very small, cold tutor room, which is one of those typical school huts (I'm pretty sure anyone from any English school will know what I mean). They're cold, damp, almost delapidated in some cases, and ridiculously old.
Luckily, our tutor room is one of the very few which has it's own heater.
That means that the tutor room next door would come in and use our room at lunch and break.

Then their tutor left on maternity leave, and they moved inside to a nice room.
However, their new tutor doesn't let them eat in the room because they leave it in a complete mess.
So, they continue to come down to our tutor room.
Most of my tutor group, about 3/4 of the group, will eat lunch in there for 10 minutes and then leave to go outside.
This other tutor group, and the entirety of their tutor group, will stay inside in our huts.
What they then proceed to do, is take every single chair and subsequently smash the legs in and out of shape. They then throw them around at doors, people, other peoples belongings (Because my tutor group leave their bags in there.).
They also smash wooden panels on the side of the walls, rip down all items from the walls, throw other peoples belongings everywhere and even place them at the bottom of bins.
Smashing plug sockets off of walls.
Scuffing black marks up the walls with their shoes (To see how high they can kick).
Leaving bits of plastic on the electric heater, which subsequently melt and release foul odours which are also toxic. What do they care? They leave after lunch.
They take the fire extinguishers and shoot them around the room, which actually means the extinguishers are at a false pressure and technically illegal and against health and safety regulations.
They even like to smash in the fire alarm occasionally.

Long story short, all the idiots from a different tutor group, use our room as a trash heap and a play thing, smashing items and other peoples belongings, releasing poisonous Carbon Monoxide fumes and breaking all manner of health and safety equipment and essentially creating fire hazards.
And we get the blame, our tutor, who has left the tutor room at lunch, and are now banned from using it, as it'll just be locked.
Some idiots from the other tutor group will no doubt try to smash in the fire escape to enter, or pry open the windows. But hey, it'll be them who gets excluded.
I no longer care enough to not drop names. I'm not taking a punishment for idiots who aren't even supposed to use the tutor room.

Sorry for the long one. :s

It's this guy who is in control of this entire country and what he controls is called a kingdom.
And when it's a girl, they're a queen, but oddly, they don't rule queendoms.

Also, for the next 13 posts, it's also a Nymethus.

A few times when I'm not paying attention.
Usually unknowingly, typed in Blockland.com instead of Blockland.us.

another reason why wiis and 360s should never be vertical.
how this fad started with upright electronics is beyond me.
Because it looks coool!

But I keep my Xbox down on its side, otherwise the disctray jams and breaks.
It is a fair point though, I don't make my computer's Disc Tray come out sideways.

I have a computer and I have a TV with a Sky+HD Box.
I don't really need to combine the two.
If I want television, I turn on the TV and watch.
If I want music I either turn on the music channels, listen to music on my computer, or put my iPod in it's docking station and listen to it from there.
If I want a movie, I put it into my computer, or watch it online, or I turn my DVD Player on.

Why does everything need to be in one piece?

How scratched (or burned) is the disc?
If it's not at all readable, then obviously, there's nothing you can do but get a new copy of the game.
My local Game shop do a service where they take/add (can't remember which, probably add) a new layer onto the disc which can then be read by the Xbox.
If it's GTA IV then it's likely that they'd have a copy they can repair it with. It costs, but it's cheaper than a new disc.

I don't really know you.
Seen you around a bit, but I haven't been paying attention to the forums a lot recently.
I guess you seem nice.

I don't understand what you mean by this. You don't want to sync what everyone listened to?
He doesn't like having to have the iPod completely re-sync absolutely everything that is currently on it, and that you want to put on it, everytime you connect it to your computer.
And I agree.
My old MP3 player, which was quite a cheap but handy little thing, was absolutely perfect because all I needed to do, was drag individual files onto and off of the player, and I could listen to them.
I didn't need it to "sync" everything and waste a lot of time and overcomplicate putting files onto it.

I like my iPod, but iTunes is so gimmicky and terrible at keeping track of or moving files, that it's almost not worth it.

And I have friends at school who claim that the Mac in all it's forms are way better than any Microsoft PC ever made, including all custom made ones.
Mind you, these are people who say "I'll use the Piltranet" when talking about the internet.
The "Piltranet" is the nickname for the Homepage that our school computers use on it's intranet. :/
"Who cares!? It's a Mac! And it's loveY!"

~Anyone who buys it logic~
This is the sort of crap they go by. "Who wants a windows computer where you can see where they screwed it together?!"
That's a logical argument for them over why Macintosh is better than Windows. Obviously they haven't seen Windows Vista or Windows 7, which as far as I'm concerned, have fairly lovey designs.

Off Topic / Re: How would you react to your own death?
« on: January 28, 2011, 01:20:46 PM »
Not especially.

I'd probably be sad at the fact that I'm gone.
But, if I had lived a good life to the end, I'd be happy that atleast I had had that, before I went.

Yes.  If i were to die, my thoughts and reactions would be nothing. That is because I'd be dead.  Being dead means I can't feel or think anything.  If you were to reword your question to something along the lines of "If you were to die and had the ability to think and feel while in the process of dying or being dead, what would they be?" I would be more inclined to give you the answer you want.
Or in an other way, if you were somebody else who is a friend/lover of yourself, and you died, how would you react?

I believe a woman should be allowed to remove the embryo she is carrying if she does not want it.
It's a worse infliction on a baby who was not wanted or would not be truly cared for to be born, than to not have been born at all.

Of course, I believe there is a point where it's wrong, where you might as well be killing a baby, but I'm not sure on when exactly life begins.
I wouldn't agree with people who believe that life begins at conception.
I like to think that there is a brain and a heart in there for life to begin, but I'm still not really sure on when the cut off point should be.
I'd just stick to the laws of the country you're in.

Are you any more magic than a regular billiards ball?

Hmmm
Cannot answer at this time.

This Eight Ball is playing us for chumps! We ought to just ask the cue ball.
