How many people noticed she used the abbreviation "ur" on her reply?

I'm slightly inclined to believe that she made a typo on typing "your".

Anyway, it's pretty sad when people resort to threatening game makers with the Police.
And I don't know how she could have turned from so horribly stupid after reading your first reply.
Her first message seemed just as a concerned mother, who wasn't comfortable with the idea, but clearly doesn't realize how multiplayer games work, and then you send her a completely normal message, with perfect uninsulting information on how to fix her problem to the best of the ability available, and then she suddenly becomes agressive and more interested in being right than actually fixing her own problem.

Maybe if she just questioned nicely why it isn't possible to fix the problem, then she would have learnt what she wanted to know and could make a rational decision.
People demean themselves too soon when told they're wrong.

I've never been able to get into it, really.

The only one I ever watched and found sort of interesting, although I still found the japanese style odd (Not the art, the way they write), was Lucky Star.

I don't really know what I'm looking for in an Anime.

Drama / Re: My @!$# Server
« on: January 01, 2011, 01:03:59 PM »
Is it not possible to have something in the welcome message, or a room with rules that you spawn in, and can't leave until you've read all the rules?

When I'm hosting, or a friend is hosting and I'm essentially in control, I just keep an eye on all the players.
Obviously you do find people who you can trust and don't need to watch, but otherwise, keep an eye on newer players or even quiet players with the /spy command.
If you see them doing something they shouldn't, then warn them not to do it, if they continue, it's as simple as a Ban, even for just 5 minutes.

It's not rude. They were warned. If they don't have the decency to do what they're told and respect the server, then they're not wanted.
They can consider the ban as a time-out to think about what they've done.
Most people won't rejoin, and that means they didn't care about being there.
If they do rejoin, 90% of the time, they come back and behave, but if they do come back and mess around again, they get a longer ban.

I barely ever permanently ban, over than for people who do completely stupid things, like spamming over other peoples work or destroying it, and I do permanently ban the stupid people who join the server, shout swears, then leave, thinking they're too fast to be banned.
Admin Menu, Clear Bricks, BanPlayer.

Anyway, there is a lot of responsibility to hosting a server. You'd have to keep an eye on people a lot, and that can and almost defintely will mean you aren't always focussing on your own building or whatever it is you're doing.
It's a bit of a commitment, but if you're wanting a good server, it's required for someone to do it.
Trustworthy friends that can be Admins are a godsend in this sense, if they can help keep the place running smoothly.

And don't feel bad about banning people. If someone has to leave for the greater good of the server, then get rid of them.
There's no point letting them sabotage the fun that you and the others in the servers are trying to have.

Just take it easy, keep calm, get rid of those who need to, ignore the guilt and make your server a fun and enjoyable place.
Afterall, the whole reason of hosting is to have fun. There's no point doing it if you're not going to have any.

The only bad popcorn is popcorn that has FAILED TO POP
Obviously the kernels were not MANLY ENOUGH to POP into SWEET FLUFFY GOODNESS. They will forever be SHUNNED from the rest of POPCORNKIND.
I dare say that the popcorn that is left on the floors of cinemas, are quite possibly bad popcorn too.

I wouldn't know though, as I haven't tested this.
For all I know, it could just be extra flavoured.

Toffee Popcorn and Caramel Popcorn. Good enough to die for.

Left over kernels hurt your teeth though. :c

I guess most of the trap-things and mutilation things mentioned allready.

But I did creepily see a series of videos of dead animals being placed into an industrial grinder, that catches the parts of the body, pulls them into the grinding mess and subsequently splits them.
The more gruesome parts were when the stomach and intestines split. The camera became covered in internal liquids.
It was interesting to see it mush up Antlers, though.

Get out.
There's nothing wrong with saying the word noob.
Don't bother calling people it, but that doesn't mean you can't say it.
And it's not even a swear word, and if it was, don't bother blocking it out. It just seems immature.
Everyone here is grown up enough to see swear words.

Anyway, welcome to the forums.
Have a fantastic time while you're here.
I hope to see more of you around.

This is sadly the best picture I have at the moment, and I can't grab a fresh pricture right now.

Anyway, the face and the hands are white skin colour, more like the Lego Picture.
The trousers and Arms are Red, while the Body is White with the Double-Belt default decal.
Eyepatch Pirate with Stuble is the face.
White Cap Hat.
White shoes.
If you find a way to fit in the Shoulder Pads, the star and band are actually Yellow, not red.

I would be much appreciative of it. Thanks.

where are you in your 6 hours ahead of me
England. And it's now 15 minutes.

Same here, sadly I have to wait till 8:30 to open presents though.
I'll end up going to sleep, then it's a family tradition to open stockings and things in the morning, about 7 O'Clock.
Then we have a nice Breakfast, then we open presents for the rest of the morning.

But, I'm having to go now. So, I'll next be posting on Boxing Day. Toodl-oo, and have a good Christmas.

20 Minutes until Christmas Day.

If I was 5 years younger, I'd have been asleep hours ago.
Hooray for 15 year olds.

That voice is annoying.
