Interesting.
It'd be cool if it was more of a Lego Massacre, like pieces everywhere.
It pretty much just runs over one of the carriages while a couple of borders on the train fall off.
I was expecting a Real-Life Train Crash depicted in Lego.

I might have set my expectations a little too high.

General Discussion / Re: What would you look for in a server?
« on: December 24, 2010, 05:52:26 PM »
As simple as it sounds, fun.

I like a fun atmosphere, friendly people joking around.
A good theme to the server. I'm not always a fan of freebuilds. I like to build something to a theme, since I get a better range of things to build, and am given a set style to build in.

Nice people, too.

Do you put your christmas tree on the ceiling?

They put everything on the ceiling.
It's all upside down in Australia.

Your continent is 11 hours too fast, slow down! o:

Also, Merry Christmas. Not much chance of a White Christmas for you, though. :o

But that's their job.
They get paid to do it.
They accept the money for the work and times that they do it.

When you have a job based around clearing snow, which pretty much only falls in the Winter, expect Winter Holidays to have problems.

Anyway, You can do Christmas the day after, it's not like it's going to disappear.
As 'Disney' as it sound, Christmas is based around your family, even if you have to do it the day after.
You're still with your family.

Russia should create a bridge between itself and Alaska and then we will be a SUPER COUNTRY!
Why don't we link all the continents together with bridges and create a SUPER CONTINENT!
Although... Just linking Europe to America, or Asia to America pretty much links us all up.

Anyway, I don't think it will happen for a fair amount of time.
One being the economies of all the major countries that would be able to even attempt such a feat.
We'd have to be able to get rid of all debt our countries have, and even have plenty more than we need.

We'd then need a suitable reason to go there.
If it's of no benefit to live there, why go there?
If there's no resources up there, then we can only rely on it to be a training thing, in which case, we'd have to defintely be able to go to other planets, namely Mars, they'd have to be worth it to go to, and we'd have to be essentially ready to go there now.
And if it was a training thing for colonization, I'd expect it to be something like the International Space Station.
Defintely international, so we don't have dozens of pointless encampments only slightly used on the moon, for every country that wants to go to another planet.

Off Topic / Re: What do you guys want for Christmas this year?
« on: December 24, 2010, 10:33:35 AM »
All I want for christmas are my two front teeth.

But really, I don't honestly know.
I've never been good for asking for stuff, because I never pick things out.
A couple of video games, I guess. Fable 3, Fallout: New Vegas.

I was getting a new computer from my parents, as they owed me money when I lent them some.
But, they're putting the money into a bank for me instead, as I'm going to buy my own computer with a fairly large sum of inheritance I recieved.
Main problem is, I know nothing of computer parts, and therefore, don't know what I need to make my computer do what I want.

Always have, always will.
I like having it all on one day.

I don't know all about Ares's builds, but I don't think it's one of theirs. Their's always have more ramp bricks, but, this may just be unfinished on the exterior.

It's interesting though.

How did you even get that effect at the bottom of the screen?
It might be a glitch from changing to FullScreen or changing the resolution.
Some of my games do that momentarily when I change the window size.

It's lyrical G!
I keep thinking that when I ever I see Wonder G.

You'll just have to either understand that it's the hosts server, even if he is an annoying git, or move onto another server.

If he is changing it just to spite you, then it's not worth being there.
Your talent is betteer suited elsewhere.

General Discussion / Re: Music limit?
« on: December 24, 2010, 08:05:09 AM »
I believe there's only a > 1MB limit, but I don't do crap with music because it's just an excessively large download for likely annoying buzzes and crap.
I've never been to a server that uses Music properly or well.
People using custom sounds work, though. Buzzez and similar sounds if put in right, work really well, but, Music never really comes of successfully, especially not Music Songs. I just think they can't fit in with things right.

The only time I've ever heard music work right in Blockland, was a roleplay based around a NightClub, so, the music worked fine.
But, they were only short, although well-looped sections of songs.

Off Topic / Re: If the US were to collapse, what would you do?
« on: December 24, 2010, 08:00:33 AM »
If my government collapsed from Debt, there is no way that I would go to the Eurozone. What with them all slowly falling on their own.
First Greece, then Ireland and Spain is heading the same way.
A continental currency was a bit of a mistake. If one country roosters up their economy, all the countries currencies lose value.

Anyway, it's not like your country wouldn't establish a new government. Even if it got so bad that the country was split into other countries (Which would probably be easy in the US, due to having large states), governments would still spring up.
Being a Western Society pretty much means that someone will seek control, and in this day and age, they wouldn't be able to do so without the people, so, it's not like a new government would be tyrannical.

And if the US's Government collpases from debt, I would defintely not move to the UK.
We'd defintely fall soon after.
Not to mention our Government does some really stupid things. I'm a Conservative, but even they let stupid things happen, like, cutting down on the countries entire expenses this year in order to save money, then giving a gigantic sum of money to the Irish.
Well done Britain, we've toiled through a year with less money than we've ever had, now you're giving it to a country that forcively and violently broke from the Kindgom, and still continues to bomb our people.
Nice move.

I would cry, because I always wanted to go there.
You could still go there, and if it collapsed economically, it would be extremely cheap.
That is, if your countries currency didn't fall soon after.

Not just the fact that it's highly flammable, and it's being given to children with horrible intentions, but..
Coal is hard. Stick that in your stocking and swing it around, you've got a nasty furlined weapon.

Santa Claus is in fact a Naughty Person himself.

« on: December 24, 2010, 07:44:06 AM »
Do it fair people.
Before Leeroy manages to crush the diamond, I snatch it from him and kick him in the face. Then I rush off toward the mountain
Little did Shafin know, that I have been working this mountain for 2 whole weeks, filling it with hollow sections and TNT, as well as a nice lava lake underneath.

As Shafin reaches the top and heads towards a nice little cavern, I trigger my Redstone switch and 100 blocks of TNT simultaneously explode, destroying the top layer and dropping Shafin through the sections I had hollowed out and into the Lava below.

Before he finally melted and was gurgling the molten liquid below, he tosses the diamond away in a mad fit in an attempt to save it.
Shafin disappears below the orange tide, as I collect the prize.
