contrary to popular belief, the guillotine is actually painful for about 15 to 30 seconds as it has been studied by observing the severed heads for the short time they are conscious upon being separated from the body (though this occurrence of being conscious is rare).
Thing is, I don't think people care too much about other people in pain so long as they aren't aware of it.
When your head is quickly chopped off by a guillotine you can't scream (no lungs attached to your airway), and you can't struggle and convulse (besides residual twitching that a body may exhibit, your nervous system has been severed so you can't control your body).

To the outside viewer, there is no pain. Maybe they pull a pained face if they were still alive, but there's no moaning or major signs of distress.
Compare that to a hanging gone wrong, and you can hear someone choke, and you can see them twitch and try to free themselves.

So, maybe there is pain for those who die by guillotine, but it's a short-lived pain anyway, and to the observer, there's not much evidence of it.

Oh my god, take your tunnel-vision goggles off!

It's already been explained to you that Nick isn't being called a creep for what he did with Bubbagum!
He's being called a creep for what he did with Tills, which was knowingly send researchographic images of himself to a underage girl who is 5 years younger than him.
The part about Bubbagum is just to show that Nick is a love-pest at best.

Read the loving topic. No one cares for your hate crusade against Bubbagum.

If you got yourself onto death row you probably don't get to claim moral superiority over anyone else.

that alone won't fix the problem so many players have that makes them want to keep their builds to themselves
I would upload mine if there was a dedicated place with slightly lower standards.
I never really finish my stuff to a level I am happy with, so I don't make a topic on it, because it would seem silly to have a topic about half-built abandoned saves.

But I would be happy to chuck some of my crap into a bargain bucket.

I mean, I waited at the Combat Zone because things seemed different with the 3 prisoners tied up at the front, plus the fact there was speech beyond the door that I was listening to, and I was sneaking.
But out and about I typically don't hesitate to kill an obvious raider/enemy. Plus I often snipe first, so on most ocassions I might not be in range to see that they aren't hostile.

That said, I open VATS a lot just to confirm an enemies position and that tells me if they are hostile or not.

Is this the only means of getting that star, or is it just a really roundabout way of using the games glitches tto get there?

Hanging isn't a terribly inhumane form of capital punishment. They usually punch your weight and height into these formulas that figure out the right height they need to snap your spine without ripping your head off or just strangulating you. At that point, it probably goes by pretty quick.
Towards the end of the practice of hanging that is. The earliest stuff was barbaric with people just being choked to death for minutes.
The 'long drop, short stop' method was better, if calculated right. Then you'd have your neck and spine snapped killing you instantly.

I think out of all the non-chemical based executions, guillotine is probably one of the least barbaric. A weighted razer sharp blade falling at speed onto the neck is quick, precise and efficient. There's little chance of the blade failing to cut or any chance of it missing, as with a headsman with an axe or sword. Your victim is going to be executed painlessly, and die instantly, compared to hanging or electric chair where they may take some time to die and be in considerable pain. And the guillotine can easily be reset for another person. At most the headblock may have to be changed, compared to gallows/ropes needing to be designed for each user if it's to be efficient.

If anything, guillotines only downside is being messy.

Something doesn't quite add up here.
Sorry, that is weirdly put.
2/3rds of the topic is off-topic. Of that 2/3rds 50% is regular off-topic discussion, and the other half is stuffposting.

There have been studies that correlate sitting on your ass all day and playing videos games and health problems
Pretty sure it's the sitting on your arse all day that's the issue.
You could be sat down knitting, or reading, or doing office work on your pc, and it would still suffer in the same way.

So, you know, you could always just play physically interactive video games, like Nintendo Wii, or Xbox Kinect, or Playstation Move, or potentially one of those Virtuix Omni with Oculus Rift.

Well I mean it really doesn't even deserve to be the longest drama topic. There's at least 75 pages of nonsense unrelated to the topic.
I did some very rough stat checking.
Here's a document describing how I divided all the posts in this topic down into 6 categories. 4 On-topic, and 2 Off-topic.
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1udVwaHIrT6T5vGikuI7TphsMefmUbB84cePupwSb108/edit?usp=sharing

Here's a document with my tally for each of the categories, page by page.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1RdSogVVeCft_ym6jlCdG01i5vZ2el-x4BvUBAEueDcw/edit?usp=sharing

Here's the facts;
- 2 thirds of the posts are off-topic. That is, not focussed on the areas of Nickpbs/Tills/Bubbagums actions, nor discussions regarding if they are in the right or wrong, or similarly related discussions.
- 1 third of the posts are stuffposting. That is, posts which have no merit or use to discussion, are purposefully trolling, or are calling for the topic to be locked, or are reaction images.
- 1 third of the posts are Off Topic discussion. That is, posts which aren't purely useless, but are not directly engaging with the core topic matter. For example, the Drug discussion on previous pages.
