I may be willing to run a 24/7 server eventually.

To be honest, the issue is never a lack of servers.

All the fun multiplayer servers up 24/7 anyway, like falling platforms, boss battles, speedkarts, prison escape, etc...

The issue is just a lack of players online.
Either there really aren't many non-US players at all (which I doubt), or most non-US players don't bother playing in our daytime, because they anticipate there being no players because the Americans are asleep.

how did you do that crystallize effect?

Paint.net has a crystalize tool, under 'distort' in the Effects tab.

It gives you a slider to choose the size of the crystals, and their quality (how anti-aliased they are).
Just select the area you want to crystalize, and then press the button.

A simple non-electric razer with a decent shaving cream does the face wonders, a $5 one I bought a few years back still does the trick.

To my eternal shame I've never used a non-electric razer.
I've got an electric razer, and then a triple-head razer that gets really close, but you can't use it on hair remotely long, because it will just rip the hairs out of your face.
