Does gibberish count as creative?

chicken is the best meat
Nope.
It's definitely pork, in all it's wondrous varieties.

Chicken is a close second though. I'm probably going to have chicken for dinner tonight, even.

Sleeping for too long, and at the wrong times.
I should be sleeping through the night, not the day.

Well that was fortunate timing.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was quite well planned.

He knew he had cancer and was very sick.
And the album is described as a "parting gift to the world".

It was likely going to be his last piece of work. I don't imagine he intended its release to be so close to his passing though.

I don't think you understand this thing called the force
'Ehh, Force or not, Anakin being able to destroy the Trade Federation ship was ridiculous at any rate.
He didn't know any of the controls at all, and for the most part, it was locked on rails.

Which, by the way, begs the question of HOW did the Naboo Fighter have a path pre-coded into it to fly directly into the hangar of the Federation ship?
And if that could be planned anyway, why did they even need human pilots? The only thing the auto-pilot wasn't able to do was fire the cannons. Surely a cheap astromech droid could have done that anyway.

what does Star Trek/Star Wars have to do with this
The only thing Planr likes is sci-fi.

Perhaps he's in a different culture than you?

If I recall by googling, he made songs in the 60's correct? That's over 50 years ago. I've only heard of his name and the name "space odyssey," but I've not heard one song by him in my life till clicking a link on this thread. Me not hearing a song by him doesn't make me uncultured. His music is old. Not one of my friends ever mentioned his name to me in my life either. Blah.

Like your Starwars example. There's still people who haven't watched it. Yeah it's surprising but I wouldn't say they lack culture.
I'm having a hard time accumulating my words right now but I hope you get my point.
My point was that it's surprising that he has neither never heard of the guy, nor heard anything of his.

I don't know all of his songs. I know hardly a fraction of them. But I know who he is, because he's impossible to have not heard of in some way, shape or form.
As I said earlier about Star Wars, and as you pointed out, not everyone knows everything about them or has even seen them, but it's impossible to have not even heard of it before.

They're such a big cultural icon that either you should have encountered them yourself, or most definitely encountered people who have talked about it.

By the way (and not as a point against you, or meaning to sound rude), Bowie was releasing music all throughout his career, which started in the 60s.
He released an album last Friday.

By the time he wants you to destroy the Railroad, then you get the option, I believe.
BoS have to have been wiped out by the Railroad first.

The things you deem to be "reasonable" for someone to know is a subjective line drawn entirely by yourself. If you're on a high level of education, you might be fooled to think that everyone in the world is as smart as you and your friends because you don't interact with those who dropped out of school early.
So maybe I should just call Planr stupid then? Would that make you happier?

At either end of the spectrum of intelligence I'm sure there are plenty of people who know of David Bowie, or have heard his songs, or even seen him in films.

If i told you to explain the historical context, inspirations and the elements of the Rococo art movement off hand and you got it wrong, should i snark at you for not being as "highly cultural", "educated and above other people" as me?
There's a major difference in knowing the complete ins and outs of a cultural subject, and having ever heard of it.
Particularly when we're discussing some of the most famous artists in Western society.

Do I expect you to know the complete disography of Bowie, or Michael Jackson, or the Beatles? No.
Do I expect you to have heard of them, or one of their songs? Yes.
Do I expect you to know the entire cast, crew and script of Star Wars, or The Godfather? No.
Do I expect you to have heard of it? Yes.
Do I expect you to know the entire works and inspirations of Picasso, or Van Gogh, or Da Vinci? No.
Do I expect you to have heard of them, or to know of one of their famous works? Yes.

It's baffling to me that a person born in the US, living in the 21st century, using the internet and being part of communities largely comprised of similar people upon the internet, has never heard of such a household name and pop-culture icon.

This is pretty offensive. It's like how many Americans don't know about their founding fathers. It doesn't mean they're "living under a rock". Nonsense.
Hey, it's not my fault if he's lacking culture...

Googled him. Never heard of this guy. Its unfortunate that he died, but personally it doesn't affect me at all as I don't know him and what he does isn't interesting to me.
What rock do you live under to have never heard of the guy?

Like, I can get people who didn't like his music or anything, but I'm shocked that people haven't heard of it.
You've seriously never heard 'Under Pressure' by Queen and Bowie?, or Space Oddity, or Life on Mars?
Perhaps not even by name, but you've at least heard the songs, right?

Whenever I join there is noone there, or only 1-2 people.
It's boring to race against just 1-2 people.

I get that it's one of those servers where people don't join until others do, but unlike freebuilds or trench wars, it's completely boring on your own, and not worth joining in the hope of attracting other people.

It just seems like you go out of your way to make snide comments about him.
He hardly went out of his way to talk about kahnuu in a topic all about kahnuu.

Regardless of the instance you're defending, I thank you. It's an utter shame that others believe that this is some sort of cruel joke.
You were hounded for impersonating yawa before, knowing that sugar is obsessed with him, gained admin on sugars server and then trolled on it and banned people.

You know for a fact how sugar reacts to mentions of yawa, and you are still trying to pull those strings of hers.

Your innocent/'i don't remember' act fools no one. It's just as pathetic as all your other trolling.

That's a real shame.
Such an unfortunate way to go too.

who?
This feels like a dumb question but I have no clue about names for actors, singers, etc.
Extremely famous English singer/songwriter, active from the late 60's onwards.
