You only have $1 billion. I'm sure established warlords in resource rich countries like Congo have much more.
Why would they give you any room to set up at all?

If you even went there you'd probably be kidnapped, ransomed and killed.

Wow that's mundane. Might as well give whatever is left to me!

What's mundane about travelling and having a really nice house?

I wouldn't burn it all on reckless things. I would like to leave a foundation for my children.
But I'd still be living to a luxury I have never had, and have what I need to make me happy.


If I had hundreds of millions then yeah, I'd probably dabble in investments and business too. But not to a state where I risk losing all my money.

If I were to win any sort of multi-million jackpot, I would retire.
Buy a house somewhere nice, save most of it, and do the best to invest enough of it so I can just live on interest.
And then do what I like. Travel a lot. Enjoy life.

It's shallow, but forget my education and employment.

Darth Maul was a very highly skilled lightsaber fighter.
He held off two highly trained Jedi Knights, killing the superior Jedi.

Ren wouldn't stand a chance against Maul.

He could almost certainly kill Boba Fett, given his strong force capabilities.
Ren stopped a blaster bolt shot at him from medium range and out of his sight.
He'd have no problem against Fett, whose arsenal included blasters and even slower projectiles, like darts, rockets and grenades (assuming Boba has all the equipment Jango did).
