I was very happy with the story. A little bit annoying that the factions seemed a bit unrealistic in that they wouldn't change their plans at all, but that's fine. The game needed to throw in some difficult decisions. Pretty much all of the major factions are morally ambiguous in some regard, which was a lot better than New Vegas, where Legion is undeniably evil, House is undeniably corrupt/tyrannical, and the NCR are the best of a bad-bunch.

Also, the side-stories in Fallout 4 seem really good too.
I've thoroughly enjoyed the Constitution questline, and the Covenant one was interesting too. The Cabot House one was also fun (although probably going to piss off some people for being extra-unrealistic, even for Fallout), and I'm looking forward to exploring it more.

And then some of the places without any questline behind them have some great atmosphere's and their own self-contained stories.
Pickman Gallery and Dunwich Borers in particular. No spoilers intended, but for those two, maybe the fact that they're both based on Lovecraft, lends to that fact.

I definitely can't wait for whatever DLC they eventually throw out.
And I'm still nowhere near seeing most of the content of the core game yet.

Nothing too specific, I suppose.

Not always, but I commonly wear game-related T-shirts, like with fallout, skyrim or borderlands decals (basically just their respective shops, lol).

And I also wear jumpers a lot. I think that was definitely known about me by others.

so how bout them comics eh
has anything even happened recently to warrant a comic?
Pie Crust is back.
Lord Tony is back.
Caribou is back.

Lord Tony and Moltenkitten, trying to tear clumps out of each other.
Lord Tony posting Molten's apology in Drama.

There's a reasonable amount to be inspired by.
I would probably give drawing a go, if my tablet wasn't broken. That's pretty much the only reason I haven't posted any comics myself in some time.

A feature I would actually love on this forum, is if the Members List was edited, to include a field in the table for listing BLID's.

They're listed on the profile pages, so it would be nice if they were in the Member List.
Then I could sort the Member List by BLID, and find a comprehensive list of members.

This would be great for trying to find other players who you may have met online, so you could contact them through the forum.
Also, it would be good for Drama topics, as you could easily search up someone's profile.

At the moment, the best way of finding an account from a specific ID is to google search something like
Code: [Select]
site:forum.blockland.us "Blockland ID:" "7482"

It's especially more useful than the fact that I can sort the Members List via old pointless things, like their MSN/YIM/AIM/ICQ addresses.

Pacify does not work quite like I expected

It's going to take a lot of getting used to, mostly not thinking the crosshair is just me looking at my companion and not immediately shooting people I pacify because I automatically assume the attempt will fail
Pacifying is interesting, and a little bit awkward to get used to.

I have definitely shot a lot of people who I have successfully pacified, simply because I assumed the pacification would not work.
Which is a little bit annoying when you pacify a legendary, lol.

I've yet to get the option to incite them to attack (I have the ability now for animals, creatures, and humans, and need to improve science a little bit to get Hacking, which I assume is just pacify for robots?).
So for the moment enemies just stop where they are with their arms up.
What's nice is that you can then deal with them afterwards, usually by sneaking behind them and blasting a shotgun in the back of their skull at point-blank, or with a melee weapon.

One sort of downside though, is that if you holster your weapon after pacifying them, they will become hostile again.
Which doesn't really make sense.
It also means that if you clear out an area, and pacify 3-4 enemies as you go, and then start looting and lower your gun for a better view, you're suddenly in another firefight.

And perhaps the most annoying thing, is using Dogmeat while trying to pacify, since he runs up in front as a melee character, and the hitbox for commanding Dogmeat is massive. I've accidentally selected him several times while trying to pacify, and you then need to back out of the command, and try again.
I think companions shouldn't be slectable when you are zoomed in, since the pacify ability only works when zoomed in.

Is this going to become your next autistic infatuation? stuffting on fallout instead of that certain fandom?
It already is. He's been at it pretty much since he returned 3 weeks ago.

All I really have left to do achievement-wise is throw Vertibird signal grenades about 40 times until I get Mercenary
That works?
I didn't know requesting/using the Vertibird triggered a misc objective.

If so, that may save me some time down the line.
Been trying to do quite a few misc objectives on this character for a while now.

So far, only achievement I think is going to piss me off is the Benevolent Leader one. Hopefully with me stockpiling materials and not doing any tinkering around at settlements, I'll be able to streamline what I need to do when I get to the end of the game and get to building.

I have a 2TB external hard-drive.
But I don't use it too much, or rather haven't recently.

It's got a lot of movies/tv programmes on it, since my brother transferred them all onto it.
And it has several steam games installed on it.

And then besides that, I have a couple of 2GB or similar sized SD cards, but they either come from my camera or my 3DS, having swapped out the default ones for larger ones.
And there's probably a 2GB memory stick or two somewhere.

I don't use too much space on my laptop, to be fair.
I'm at 485GB out of 1TB memory.

That's quite peculiar.

I guess that maybe at one point there was a plan for you to have multiple followers, or at least two of them.
I would imagine that maybe Dogmeat and Codsworth weren't intended to count towards your cap, since they're a robot and an animal.

Like how Rex and ED-E didn't count to your limit in New Vegas, so you could have one of those two, plus a humanoid companion.

while playing with multiple companions, codsworth has special lines referring to the party as a whole after battles
Is that a mod which lets you have multiple companions?

If so, why does Codsworth have lines for it?

A chance to change? What are you on about? I'm merely defending someone who regrets his decisions from the past. You can look at 7 year old me's posts and you will know I want to put some things behind me. I've spoken to the lad, he's definitely regretful and not meaning to offend anyone or attack people or spam a post. You lot are the ones who should tone down a notch.
There's a massive difference between someone regretting their actions from 5 years ago, and not wanting to be judged by them, and someone regretting their actions from just 6 months ago, and not wanting to be judged by them.

Especially when those actions were purposefully malicious and rule-breaking, and it wasn't the first time they did it either.

I'm trying to decide whether or not to buy this on PC
my sister has it for the PS4 she just got, and I've played it a little there, and I like it, so I'm not worried about that
but is there anything wrong with the PC version specifically? like, problems with the port?
I know one advantage will be mods
Only thing I have heard is that the UI can be a little bit confusing for PC players, compared to console.

But the only example of that I know of, is that in the Perk Chart you have to bring the mouse to the bottom of the screen to go down, rather than any button to scroll (which is actually how the console does it too, so I don't know why they did it that way for the PC).

Then the obvious issue is whether or not your hardware is capable of playing the game, and at what quality.
But I'm sure that's not something you'd forget about.

And bonuses are access to more mods (or any, as of the moment), and console commands.

Just English.

I had the crappiest education in French, but there's no chance I can say I can speak it. I've not spoken, written, or read French in 5 years.
