Almost always need at least a small sip of something.

I hate the non-coated paracetamol tablets you can get because sometimes they're a bitch to push out of the pack and will split in two.
Then it tastes awful because the chalky insides are exposed.

So.. you weren't even a rent-a-cop, you were a 14 year old volunteer.
How much of a security guard were you?
Well did you hear about any terror attacks in Chicago?

I think not.

483
Did you get much trouble from those Land fanatics?

That's possibly dismissive.

I broke my Bamboo last year. Not entirely sure what happened to it, although it has some scratches.

It just became entirely unresponsive on the computer, although it would still light up if the pen touched it.
I checked to see if it was a software issue, but couldn't get it to work after reinstalling the software.

I'd like to get another one, or a nicer tablet, but I don't have the artistic skills or inspiration to justify it.

Direct him back to the welfare office.

You're really not as clever as you think you are, Damp.

There are a lot of pros/cons to both sides.

If you stay what other opportunities are in the area? Will you be happy if you are tied down to permanently working with Hardees? If you take management roles and they keep moving you up it will get harder to leace it.

If you live with the girl can you be sure you will be happy? You're not in a relationship, but you want to be. Can you live alongside her knowing nothing is happening? Can you live with her if she moves on to other relationships?

If the relationship breaks or circumstances change can you stand on your own feet? Mom and Dad are putting away the safety net, what else can you fall back on?

If you go to college in a different state will you be able to stick to your studies? From what you tell us here you're quite a wild and adventurous person. Can you focus on studying for 3 years?

If you go to college for meteorology will you be happy? You say you've lost motivation for it, and it is incredibly difficult to study hard for something you have no motivation/passion for. Can you persist?

the article does seem to indicate that people would be actually forbidden from wearing a burqa in certain places, so that does seem to be what it's about, even if it's supposed to achieve a larger goal. if it's just for identification purposes, wouldn't it be enough to just say you have to show your face when you're being identified?
We don't let people wear motorcycle helmets in banks/courts, even if they were to reveal their face to security.

You're watching a movie, not having a meeting. You don't need to sit beside friends in a movie because you're not supposed to talk. Doing so just disturbs people around you. Save your jokes and discussions for afterwards.
I don't talk to my friends during the movie, but I still want to sit next to them. I arranged to go to the movies in order to be with them.
If we sat apart then we might as well have just watched the movie at seperate times and then met to discuss it.

You also lose the benefit of getting to laugh and joke over the trailers or credits.

Chances are it was London's Burning. My brother probably wanted to put it on for me, as he had named me after a character on the show.

I already posted it months ago.
You post 1100 times each month. No one keeps track of every single post you make t o know what you've posted before, nor does anyone want to dig through your posts to find it.

That is also true
at least not a true democracy
There aren't any true democracies, and haven't really been since the classical Greek city states, like Athens.
In a true democracy everyone votes on everything, with no representatives (Although usually only males, above a certain age, who are free and natural citizens could vote. Minors, Women, Slaves and Foreigners could not vote).

The concept of democracy today is mostly based on the idea that a leadership/representative is voted in by a sizable portion of the population.
Being so vague this means that there are lots of democracies worldwide with lots of differences. And if your government has elections then it has all it needs to label itself as a democracy. Even if certain groups can't vote, there's only one party, or even only one choice.

My cinema does reserved seating, but seems to randomly decide whether or not they'll enforce it.
They randomly choose whether they will guide you to specific seats (whether you reserved seats or not) or if they'll just let you seat yourself.

The weirdest thing is that they tend to not guide you in the biggest screen on highly booked showings, but tend to guide you on the smaller screens with low turnouts. You'd think it would be the other way around.
