Spring guns aren't good, period. They're fun for shooting targets for a sick but that's it.

learn to think

gas guns require you to buy gas along with BBs and occasional maintenance.

i've never owned a spring gun that has broken down on me unless someone did something stupid to it like drop it. you don't need to buy springs for spring guns

think for a sec

50 dollar spring gun vs 50 dollar gas gun

same company same gun etc so on and so forth

you'd spend more on the gas gun. spring guns are more economically friendly and not as likely to punch a hole in your wallet.

I'm 12, I don't want to get in trouble for owning a gas-powered pistol.

Besides, I can get a really powerfull springer that can compete with a weak Co2 canister.

They only check to see if it's gas or cap powered, everything else is allowed I think.
