I personally think there should be no exceptions - these people came here undocumented (illegally) and it is more than fair to send them back home. It is unfair for our economy to have so many people who will take such low-paying jobs. Many of them also don't pay taxes, and some are also on welfare and food stamps while not paying taxes. It is unfair for those who really need it. In my opinion, only legal residents should be deserving of these benefits. At this stage though, too many illegals were just let in and you can't deport them all - but I do think some should be if they don't make enough contributions. In my opinion, those who are educated and have clean backgrounds should be allowed to stay otherwise, no. A lot of people may say its heartless, but think about it: in order to live freely in country you can't stay and be without papers.
