I wish I could build like that. How did you know what pieces to use to make the train, did you plan it out or did you already have the pieces?

I hope nothing bad happens as a result of these strings of DDoS attacks. Blockland makes me smile and entertains me when I need it the most, and I would be very upset if it had to go. I also feel bad for Ephiatles since RTB is constantly DDoS'd, and has to refund his customers constantly.

We need to start a steam grope and talk from there.

I think that there is already a Blockland Steam group.

imo you don't really need to master html or css to move on to php, just have a good understanding of them. if you're learning php then you're going to pick up a lot of html along the way.

not necessarily, JS and PHP are different in many ways, and php is more fun imo. if he already has a bit of programming knowledge he should do fine with understanding php.

I thought JavaScript was used more for application creation?

Every person has a different way of remembering things. In a few days, it might be better again. With me, I have some days where I can't remember a thing.

CodeAcademy is a great place to get started. As for languages, I recommend starting with HTML, and then CSS for more advanced design. If you master both of those, then you could move onto PHP.

Off Topic / A Chinese crime group on World of Warcraft faces jail time

I found this to be very interesting. Many people think that virtual property doesn't mean anything, so therefore you can scam it from somebody or steal it without punishment - but little do people know, it is punishable in several jurisdictions. I think virtual property should be regulated to a degree, because it isn't now.

I don't know why people go out of their way to do this.

It's just sad to me how this keep happening. Whoever keeps doing it is gonna get into massive trouble. Is there anyway to prevent these attacks?

What part of Arizona are you in? I've also been to most states on the Eastern Seaboard, along with many other cool places.

Update?

I doubt it's an update, but maybe Badspot is currently upgrading the servers with the increase in players from Steam.

I once had a dream where I thought I fell off my bed when I was 7, and then I woke up and I really did fall off my bed. I screamed so loudly, and I was scared. I think that was the weirdest dream I've ever had.

Lets not forget why we play blockland- to build.
A lot of servers currently are pushing away from the building aspect of the game. If a player wants to shoot some zombies, they'd play a zombie game (like dayZ)
I think well administrated city RPG's are blockland's assets (like Diggy's City RPG)
They present well scripted mods and beautiful builds while allowing players to construct.

Thats just my opinion anyway.

I couldn't agree more. Diggy has an excellent server, but sadly there aren't many players coming regularly.
