The only people here who find this offensive are either autistic themselves or have an autistic relative. If these things would not be true, then absolutely no one would be complaining about this lol.

Not true, if someone says to another person that they are a living cancer, I grant you that they'd be offended even without having a relative or friend who has or had cancer.
