Mapping Help / Vehicles won't spawn in a custom map.
« on: January 23, 2009, 05:45:20 PM »
I've had a map sitting around for a while and didn't release it because every time I tried to spawn a vehicle nothing happened.

http://www.sendspace.com/file/jkt5m2

Feel free to download it and use it for whatever, but be warned that vehicles won't spawn. It's also still in development, there's more that I'm doing to it.

It isn't the chat script object, I fixed that in the latest version of it. I'm not sure why that would break anything anyway.

If only making bricks was this easy.

I was thinking it would look good being about the size of a 1x2.

BALLOONS

I made it early in the morning/late at night, so if it isn't that great, I'll go make another. I was tired of the face crying cookies.

Off Topic / Got back from voting, also go vote.
« on: November 04, 2008, 08:42:48 AM »
I didn't have to wait in a long line at all, in fact, as soon as I got there, I voted. But there are only 10000 people in my town anyway.

My town has its own party that runs in all the local elections. I laughed because they put Roger Calero there; there wasn't any room for him elsewhere. I was trying to figure out why the town had a presidential candidate.

Anyway, I voted on the old lever machines, they are actually pretty nice. I'm hoping for no hanging or dimpled chads.

I mentioned that I voted, and one of my friends asked if I voted for the right candidate. I responded with "I plead the fifth."

So, yeah, you should go vote. I'm posting from school, so I don't have time to tell you why. If you don't want to vote, pretend I had an argument with you and won and convinced you to go.

I made this topic before anyone else decides to make another thread.

Basically, MTV is running some silly poll that you can vote as many times as you want.
Currently, Rick is in the lead with 99.98% of votes.

http://www.bestactever.com/

It votes 5 times every two seconds.

Also, yeah, it's on digg. Before someone posts "stole from digg fail."

"Thanks! You've voted for Rick 681 times. "

Help / Cannot upload .png format for avatar
« on: September 30, 2008, 09:38:51 PM »
For some reason I can only upload gif and jpg files. Now I have to use a gif for transparency, and it doesn't look as good as transparent pngs did.

Made this as an avatar for something.

He's holding a suitcase, it's cropped out though. Of course, if you could see the suitcase, you'd also notice the lack of legs.

The latest scheme cooked up by the  Department of National Intelligence (see Intellipedia, the free wiki for government employed security brown townysts) a social networking site geared towards keeping the United State's intelligence agencies and brown townysts working together.

In the words of Peter Sagal on Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me!, "If you're an under cover agent, you'll soon be able to join A-Space, a new social networking site especially designed for people who can't tell anyone anything about themselves. It's every bit facebook and youtube for spies, but it's much much more. Only people with high level security clearance will be able to access this site; Members of the CIA and NSA will be able to friend each other, poke each other with fake poisoned umbrella tips, and post highly classified documents on each other's super fun walls."

Help / Attachment limit
« on: September 09, 2008, 10:15:17 PM »
If I try and upload an avatar or attach a file to my message I get an error message. Does anyone else get this?

I saw a nice unlabeled green one. I thought it would probably work well enough for notes and stuff. I put it in my computer and:

It started automatically, and I didn't realize it was doing anything until I checked the log. So I was like, stuff, what got deleted. I checked my drive and found out all it did was write over the blank space on the drive with lots of 0s.

So it's not the end of the world, but it did scare me for a few minutes. Especially since it's only 7:30 in the morning and I'm still basically asleep.

Why anyone would leave killdisk lying around innocently is a mystery.

Help / What does the misc limit on Advanced Config do?
« on: August 13, 2008, 06:42:13 PM »
Also, does schedule limit the number of events a player can create or does it limit the number of events running at once? Finally, are super-admins exempt from these limits?
