Would you like Badspot to make money?
Yes (39.3%)
No (28.6%)
I don't care (32.1%)

If 28% of the people I met told me they didn't want me to be financially successful, 28% of the people I met would mysteriously have a black eye.

Go to megaton and ask for the super duper market quest from the shopkeeper at The Craterside Supply.

Go to the location indicated on your map. Kill everyone inside and grab all the loot. You should find a shotgun somewhere around there.

You might get ambushed at the store. The people outside might have a shotgun.

After you have a shotgun, kill super mutants. Take their hunting rifle.

Congratulations, you now have the two weapons I completed a bit over half the game with. Make sure to grab all the sniping related perks for your hunting rifle.

Lincoln's rifle is the Museum of Natural History. It's full of ghouls, and there's a lot of super mutants between where you are now and there. The alien blaster is out somewhere, consult the wiki. There is a limited supply of ammo and you'll need energy weapon skill. (You already did this)

I would argue that it was successful, then again, I wrote it. :cookieMonster:

1. It managed to pull a long winded rebuttal out of someone with something I spun in about 3 minutes.
2. Dshiznit pulling the key.dat down off the file space was worth it.
3. Dshiznit seems to think it's a lawyer.

I started writing a response to what's his name's long post but decided I wouldn't let him goad me into admitting I'm not a lawyer (which I never actually said, they just assumed it from the language and dropping a 4 letter acronym). Plus my response started sounding like an apology.

(PS, if you're reading this Dshiznit and elrunethe2nd, circumventing the demo software by fooling it into thinking you have a legitimate offline copy to unlock features that you weren't intended to have is, in fact, a breach of the EULA. As to whether this would successfully hold up in court, you'd have to ask someone knowledgeable in law, of which I clearly am not. But the whole "1 person stealing the game doesn't hurt your sales" argument doesn't really fly, you might as well group that argument in with "It's not piracy if you download a game to see if you like it and then either buy it later or delete it after 24 hours." Unauthorized distribution of copyrighted material is infringement, no matter what moral qualifiers you try and attach to it to keep a clean conscience.)

I say we make a topic with every skill listed and let people vote for 14 skills. The top 7 are major, next are minor.

I'd vote for axe, alteration, heavy armor and sneak for major skills. I don't care about the rest, as long as athletics, acrobatics, repair and alchemy aren't either minor or major, since they can accidentally level you without practicing any of your other skills and you miss out on the stat modifiers (except the 5x basically useless personality modifier).

I'm not interested in power leveling, but I don't want to get stuck with grabbing 1 strength, 3 speed and 5 personality every level.

I pick the tower sign a lot so I can unlock the customs office and steal all the contraband. It's not very useful after that, so someone can pick a nice useful sign.

And no gaming the system with fortify intelligence potions or infinite duration conjurations. >:(

There is a cap on speed because idiots were making stuff that would fly through everything and crash the game.

although it's a little sad when more respected members slip up and get the ban hammer.
I just say good riddance, we didn't need you anyway.

Listening to them bask in the false glory of their shoddy smooth shaded contorted geometric abstractions that fired a million rounds per second they tried to pass of as guns, constant rants about how awesome they are because they've been playing Blockland since 1973 and how the Blockland forums was going to hell in a hand basket was getting more than a little tiring.

Take out the trash and make room for some fresh talent.

<Administrator Name>

Hello. In good faith I have contacted you about potential copyright violations on your site, in the hopes that we may cooperate to achieve a compromise that is beneficial to the both of us, and I will not be required to contact your web host.

The following <unlock the demo> guide, <key file download> and this forum post which contains a shared key may run foul of the DMCA anti-circumvention guidelines.

Your current inaction leads me to believe that you endorse piracy.

Best regards.

1. Copy this post.
2. Fill in the blanks.

Curved bricks are possible.

The curved face will end up looking like a faceted cylinder, but it's a good enough approximation.

So what, are we sharing a character on Morrowind (according to the poll data at the time of this post)?

I vote GOTY edition with no mods or plugins. And not a stupid bosmer. And I assume there's going to be some kind of vote on skills?

EDIT: If arena wins I hope you don't mind if I run a similar game of Morrowind, because I'm going to. I'm really interested in seeing how it would play out.

General Discussion / Re: Some event questions.

The first 3 numbers are the velocity of the projectile in X, Y and Z directions that will create the single vector the projectile will travel along in 3D space. The next 3 numbers are the range the X, Y and Z velocities will fall within. If you enter 5 0 0 5 0 0 for the direction, it may travel at any velocity between 10 and 0 along it's x axis. The above example creates "spread" along 1 axis- or a variable maximum range. 500050 would make the bullets all travel the same distance forward but at different angles, creating a line shaped spread. 500055 will make a circle shaped spread where the bullets all travel the same distance forward but at different angles. 500555 will create a sphere shaped spread. If you could fire the bullets and plot where the stopped on a 3D matrix, you would eventually get a solid sphere.

Look up LLC in an encyclopedia.

I'll give you a hint - it stands for limited liability company.

Also, it has no connection to garage games.

Try typing DISABLE instead.

Bethesda made the command for a reason. It gets rid of stuff that makes your game unplayable. (in practice, Dark Brotherhood assassins murdering you with poisoned blades while you are locked in a prison cell because you stole a fork and couldn't pay the fine)

Too bad you can't play the Those! quest. You get a nice perk.
