That's what I'm wondering. The only way I can think of to fix this would be to lower the depth of the water so that it won't affect the player.
And ya I could easily make two different versions, but for right now I just want to get the bots and water problem figured out.

Fish idea I like but lag? I mean if you get infront of it what will it do? Player moving to fish and fish swimming away not possible. I moving thing could be it's the collision part I'm confused about. Great idea!
It wouldn't lag that much. And we can just use Space guy's bot mod (with his permission of course) and alter the player model. The walk bots just move around randomly and avoid objects, so they would move out of the way without altering the script.

if anyone is going to make fishes would their maybe be more then 1 design of fish so the tank doesnt have the same kind of fish
Just one design is fine with me. But ya, if someone could make multiple models that would be awesome.

I could try making the fish MODEL, but i cant script soo... Can anyone else do the scripting

And I started messing around with the water and I found a way to make the walk bots float and move around without sinking. They avoided objects just like I was hoping, but they were stuck in the crouch position; I don't know if that would be a problem if we change the bot model.
Also, I don't know how to alter the water so that it wouldn't affect the player. I could just raise it higher, but then if the player goes to high then he will just shoot to the top of the map.

All I need to figure out is how to change the bot to a different .dts shape and how to have bots automatically spawn when the map loads. Anyone know how?

I'm sure it's possible, but it might be too difficult to script. I just want simple bots which swim around in a set path, they don't have to react to anything except the walls of the fish tank, kinda like the way Space Guy's bots avoid walls. But, the more realistic the better.

I'll have a try at this.

lol ok, do you want me to keep the brick studs white or should I change the color? And I aligned the floor to the bricks perfectly, but the studs lost a lot of texture quality.

Packer made animated .dts shapes, you can't animate interiors, atleast not with the resources I have. I wonder if there is a way to make the fish as bots, change the model of the minifig, and have them spawn automatically when the map is loaded? They could move like Space Guy's bots, but would hover on the Z axis.

I was actually thinking of making this a long time ago, but for some reason I decided not to. Instead, I just included one in my Ghost's House map. If someone could model and animate a fish that swims around I would gladly make this map.

You see, I am a Christain but Please do not bring it up. I know you probly did not know that the people on the forums would get mad at you for doing this but......... face the facts. I'm a Christain and all, but we dont want a clan about it. DONT BRING IT UP MAN!
I am Chrsitian too, but I am not going to let some people I only know over the internet hinder my beliefs. I can respect their opinion and their beliefs, but I like the idea of uniting Christians into a clan. If anyone has a problem with that then they have some personal problems with religion to work out. Christianity is all about morals, and I don't see why people would be against something that is about doing good. One thing about believing in religion is that you have to stand up for what you believe in when the majority of people will hate you for it.

Actually, God does love you, if you are ignorent of him. As in, you grow up without ever hearing of him.

And God loves gays, he just wishes that they chose a different path. "Liking" and "Loving" are two different things. God may not "like" gays but he still loves them. The same with parents. They may not like you at times, but they love the whole time.

True. But, God has a universal truth of being infinite, all loving, etc., which is shared by many religions. God is perfect, and we are imperfect, thus we interpret him in imperfect ways.

Do you mean pre-built stores for weapons and vehicles or just empy spaces in general? There will be many pre-built stores as well as plenty of open areas for you to build your own.

Update: I am working on a teleport system so that all you have to do is walk up to the front door of a skyscraper and you will be teleported to the roof. I also might put in a subway system, which would just be a series of random teleports to help you get around faster.

The map is mainly for deathmatches, rpgs, races, zombie wars, etc. It isn't really meant for building; we have many maps for that already. There will be many open areas to build however such as parks, vacant lots, building interiors, and more.

Why doesn't the statue of liberty have a dress?
Right now it's just a place holder; once I finish the majority of the city I will start adding more detail.
