Animal Crossing: New Leaf
And it's far off from being a 2013 game but we're finally getting EU versions of the DS and 3DS games Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked and Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 from 2011 which i'm looking forward to immensely.

IGN says 10-12 hours, But i don't think i want to go back to skyrim anyway.
The problem i have with that is, It's another 10+ hours of the same thing. And bethesda don't do decent story so that's not there either.

I don't know, Alan Wake was my favourite game i played this year but that came out in 2010. I liked:
Torchlight 2
Borderlands 2
FTL
Hotline Miami
The Secret World
Sleepy Dawgs
The Darkness 2
Guild Wars 2 - Although not the true love i wanted after gw1.
I haven't played the really big games of this year so no FC3, AC3, MP3 or Dishonoured.

I don't really have a favourite genre and i'm defiantly not going to spend 8 years thinking of a list nobody will look at, I'll play whatever's interesting, But generally FPS games bore me pretty quickly.
