Is this Badspot / Eric Hartman's own account?
The same guy that made blockland?

Im confused cuz he says he "is working on V11"
But he also has a quote from Eric Hartman.
It also says founded: Eric Hartman,
But I dont know If I should believe that it is his or just a fan.

He also says "Blockland Facebook Fan Thingy ( Yeah Close But Far Away )"
I dont know about you, but that doesn't sound like Badspot at all.

If its not, then I think Badspot / Eric Hartman should make an Official Facebook / Twitter / Myspace Blockland Account. That would be pretty cool.

And I appologize if this topic offends anyone, I know what the BL community can be like. Just say the word and I'll lock it.

General Discussion / Name Change

I'll admit, Im a perfectionist.

I've got this problem with SEVERAL addons.
One easy example is my duplicator.
On my IN GAME addons list it says "duplicator" and its driving me nuts~
Is there anyway I can change the name to "Duplicator" ?
Ya know with a capital "D"

Note its only lowercase on my IN GAME addon list, the list I choose the item from that I want to spawn, the list you get to by hitting a brick with a wrench, no ware else, not in any of the files.

How exactly would I do that?

I appolagize in advance if this is anoying to anybody, because I realize that Its kinda weird for me to ask this... Once again, perfectionist

General Discussion / Getting A New Router

Im getting a new router.

I want to get one with a pretty nice range. Because my Laptop is normally pretty far from it.

It also has to work with Blockland.
My current router is weird and old; I tryed port forwarding it but it just screwed up my internet and I had to mess with all these weird settings. I think i needed to make another IP adress, i dont remember.

I need a router that I know for sure can easily be port forwarded for Blockland.
Tell my from experience what you think I should get.

What should I get?

I saw this on another forum... Just thought i'd give it a try here.
Lets see if it catches on!... If it doesnt im not suprised.

This game is played by talking in question. The first player startes by asking a question. EX: ( Would you like to play questions? ) Then the next person must respond to the question by asking another question. EX: ( How do you play that? ) Thus creating a never ending chain of questions. Each player must continue the conversation by asking a question.

One Rule: The question you post have to be on topic, and related to the situation.
Edit: Another Rule: It someone asks the question: "What is Questions?" please DONT answer with somthing like: "What is not Questions?"

Did I say Image Heavy? I meant Image Morbidly Obese.

I think theres only one DM... and like 4 TDMs

Here's The First one, Probably the one Im the most proud of. Its the neatest of them all.

Its Called Invasion Force:



The Idea I was going for was two really scifi baces hovering forest. Maby it wouldev looked cooler if the supports for the bases were invisible and they were just floating in mid air.



The Inside of the Baces is not too special. Very simple. You press a button to teleport up and down.



Now heres another overview picture.



My Second is called: Sand Trap

Its unfinished...

Yes, I am aware that there is a map on Halo with the same name, But what els could i call this?

Edit: That was a retorical question



This one is a DM, unlike the rest wich are TDMs.



Dont fall in! The Idea was that there would be Zombies in the bottom. the drop was just shallow enough for your player to survive, right before you would get mauld to death by Zombies.

I had to use Zombies. If I could I wouldev used some kind of crazy Sand Monster thing.



This is my next, It be called: Night Shift

I really just threw this one together in like a half hour...



There is a bridge in the middle, and four small towers on each end that can be used for sniping.

And this is my final one: Snow Blind

Obviously its not done.
I never finished it, and i will probably never get around to finishing it.

The cool thing about this river is that if you fall in, you will instantly die if you fall in. Yeah, Its called Hypothermia.

Sure I have more, but these are prety much the highlights of my DMs and TDMs.

Give me feed back. How are they on a scale of 1 to 10?

Tell me how much they suck. ( Sarcasm ) ( But seriously, if they suck tell me )

Suggestions & Requests / Timer Events ( Different Than Event Delay )

Would be really usefull for DM's and other things. Im suprised some one hasnt jumped on this idea yet.
 
Start Timer - Output event
Stop Timer - Output Event
On Timer Hit Zero - Input Event

And then there should be some kind of Event that causes something to happen when the timer reaches a certain point. ( Thats not zero )

But yeah, someone really should make this. Im not too fond of scripting, or I would do it myself.
I could certainly use this for one or two things...

Edit: Let me if there is already something like this, Cuz I dont really pay that much attention to when addons come out. I just get them when i see them.

Edit: The Event Delay System goes up to 3 minits. ( I think ) For this, Im talking like 10 minits.

Edit: AND, a timer would be displayed at the top of the screen.

Help / Freeky Speed Thing

Ever since V11, Everything in Blockland has been "Super Fast"
Its hard to explain...

My character moves faster, I fall faster, Everything on the menu is faster,
And occasionaly, I will just randomly teleport around.
I really wish I had a video to show what its like.

And this comes and goes, Its on, and off, Sometimes Its happening some times its not.

Its impossible to do anything like this. And, again, this has only started happening since V11.

Is this happening to anyone els?
What should i do?

Help / Music Problem

I rarely do anything involving music.

But since v11 came out, my music is not working.
It still has all the original songs, but i cant add anything els.

The music is .ogg
I put it in the Add-Ons / Music folder

But it doesnt show up on the music list in game.

Has this happend to anyone els?
What should i do?

Help / Missing File?

Whenever I start a game with certan addons a message will appear right below the text that says welcome to blockland on the loading screen. It will say: "such n such" file is not found in big red letters. Sometimes this happens 6 or 7 times depending on what addons i have.
I hope yawl know what im talking about.

Is there a way to fix this missing file problem?
Or is there a way to make it so it doesnt show me this message?
( that doesnt involve removing the addon )

Because it gets really anoying when it happens like 6 or 7 times every time i get on to play.

This is my verry first Map, and the verry first thing i have ever posted on blockland.

This is my first Map, so please give me a break if you dont like it or there is a problem or something.
I'm actually affraid of what feed back i might get.

I might edit this map, so expect a sequal sometime. ( If people like it )

It looks like the normal Duplicator - only blue instead of green.

You hit a brick and it says on your screen: Events Dupicated, then it says how many events you duplicated.

Then you hit another brick and it adds the events to it and it will say on your screen: Events Have Been Duplicated, then it says how many events you duplicated.

To go back to normal mode simply unequip it.

If the brick you are adding the events to already has events on it, it will still keep the old ones, and just add the new ones.

Good Idea?
