Off Topic / Need some help getting mic to work with my headset
« on: April 16, 2014, 05:35:19 PM »
So, I received a Turtle Beach Ear Force NLA, which is a headset for the Wii U. I want to use it on my computer, however the mic won't work. I have a wire where you connect the headphone jack from the headset and it plugs into both the headphone and microphone jack on the computer, but to no avail. I would like to know how to get the microphone working on my PC. Note: The headset only has a headphone jack.

EDIT: Made correction. It is a Turtle Beach Ear Force NLA, not NL3.

Hello, I am just saying that I want to bring up a new jail escape server. I may have made 2 of these jail escape maps before, but the build quality was horrible. I would like some people to help me build a new jail, since I don't do much of a good job on my own. I will be hosting a public server, where you may help if you would like. Thank you.

Off Topic / Identify the JPEG

What you do is you post a heavily JPEG'd image, and other people try to guess it.

Here's one JPEG to start the thread:

EDIT: It was a bench! Congrats to everyone who got it right!

Off Topic / What's your number?
« on: April 08, 2014, 08:17:25 PM »
http://numbergenerator.org/random-5-digit-number-generator

What you do is click the link, and you get a random 5 digit number. Post what you get! You can even post multiple 5 digit numbers as well.

I got 51924.

Instead of posting them spread out like
4 1 4 5 5,

just remove the spaces in between the numbers, so it would be 41455.

Off Topic / Windows XP is dead
« on: April 08, 2014, 04:23:28 PM »

Yup, it's dead.
Now, to be honest, XP was my most favorite operating system, Not to mention XP was the first OS I ever used. Well, there must be a point where end of life is reached. And it's now. No more security updates or XP patch Tuesday, XP computers will now be targeted by hackers to exploit vulnerabilities and put viruses and bad stuff on computers that still run it. Well, goodbye.

Basically, this is a situation where you have a button that will give you something like a ability, but there is consequences.

Off Topic / RIP Windows XP - The clock is ticking
« on: April 02, 2014, 07:41:57 PM »

Anyone remember good old Windows XP, pretty much the best operating system ever in my opinion? Well, on April 8th, Microsoft will pull the support plug. That's it, support for Windows XP is ending. Now, I loved XP. It introduced me to computers, and I fell in love with the OS. Well, time to say goodbye.

Good night, sweet prince.

« on: April 01, 2014, 07:29:03 PM »
So, I set up a windows 98 virtual machine, and I put internet and all, so I browsed the forums with it.
Also, I am looking for the graphics drivers, so it's pretty much 16 colors.

Off Topic / BLOCKLAND HOVER TOURNAMENT - RED WINS GAME 2, POLL ADDED
« on: March 30, 2014, 08:30:00 AM »

Anyone wanna do a 8 player match with me?
LET'S DO A 8 4 PLAYER HOVER TOURNAMENT! LET'S SEE WHAT TEAM WILL WIN!

Also, let me explain what this game is.
You control a hovercraft/bumper car, and you must capture all the opposing team's flags to win. So it's kinda like CTF. There are power ups and power downs placed around the map as well.

Hover was originally released in 1995 on the Windows 95 Companion CD-ROM. Last year, in october 2013, Microsoft brought the game back, with the game updated for today's game standards. Also, you need a web browser with WebGL, one browser is google chrome.

PLAYERS IN GAME 1:
Mr Queeba
Superbro11
Rabid Doge
Sehgoo

WINNING TEAM IN GAME 1:
Red

PLAYERS IN GAME 2:
Mr Queeba
Pentium
Player 3
Player 4 (Actual Name Unknown)

WINNING TEAM IN GAME 2:
Red

PLAYERS IN GAME 3:
Soon!
