Galaxy Soup is a crazy company name. Where are the zombies?

You turn a bit too quick, And they die too fast too :(
And you can't rotate things because of the right click menu
Yeah a lot of groups realized this when we did our Web player builds, its a shame really but if you play in Fullscreen you can right click.

Games / Play my 48 Hour Game: Steam Tank
« on: September 14, 2012, 12:45:23 PM »
Last weekend I entered with 2 programmers into a 48 hour challenge, we had to make a game where 3 shapes were the core mechanic used in gameplay. So we created a tank game where rather then shooting you use the geometry of the 3 shapes to build your weapons on your tank. The idea is that you use shapes to break off shapes on enemy tanks then you hit their main bare tank to destroy it.

Currently entered in a competition, you can vote for us if you like (Steam Tank). Link below to the game!

You need at least $1000 USD/AUD for something reasonable, if you go up to $2000 you can get fairly state of the art but if you go with about $1500 you can still get something pretty average and overall stable for the next couple of years.

Yo dawg I heard you like games and stuffe, so we started iFest in Australia and now its in USA. Basically its like GDC except a hell of a lot less speakers and events (+Free). This weekend on Sunday in the capital iFest we've got Trip Hawkins speaking, in Seattle Gabe Newel had attended as well. Pretty cool stuff, I remember attending the very first one last year... actually now that I think of it I was working there. Its all setup by the guy who owns AIE/Micro Forte/Big World, although it may not be as interesting to you people in Australia all we had was GCAP before this.

Not very often you read the title of a thread and know exactly what it is.

Wear sunglasses, all the time. And when someone asks you why, you tell them "I never asked for this".

New PC, upgrades will not cut it at all. For something relatively modern you'll have to spend around $1000 not including the OS.

Blocklands requirements are pretty minimal for these days, if you try to run anything higher like... Battlefield 2 you'll start to feel the slowness of the computer.
