Games / Re: Rock Raiders FPS

Could you make it so that maps are generated as a grid of interchangeable tiles?

Also, I wouldn't mind if the wall textures/geometry were remade. Perhaps a mesh which has some of the features of the rock face protruding from it? Maybe you could have a small selection of slightly different tiles for each wall "type" so the caverns aren't so monotonous.

There are so many ways in which the concepts and graphics from the original game can be improved upon. Truly an exciting opportunity.
Explain what you mean by "interchangeable tiles", also the reason why the caves are literally boxes is because I don't have a scriptor to write a cave generation system that would rotate accordingly to what's mined and what's not. I could of sworn I explained this. Also about the cave tile textures, when I've done a proper level they won't be so repetitive, though I may do variations in the far future. I would also need a texture artist for that.

Best thing to do is contact Steam Support and alert them of the situation and see if you can get it resolved.

This reminds me...

If i fail this semester, my parents force me to religious school, if that fails, military.

If i go to either one of those, I'm just going to say "NO. GO AWAY" To everyone there and just do nothing.

I hate both those types of schools.
"religious school", I can instantly tell your parents are morons, I feel sorry for you. Thats enough of this thread for me, before I get into any stupid fights over nothing again.

Nice black and white view on the military. Military school isn't made to breed soldiers, you don't just sit around and train and learn about the military.
Its also about discipline. Its about as cool as a high class private school, specially the all girls/boys one, more friends then you can count. I don't have the mental tolerance to put up with such places so I reject them from my logic.

Yes because in-order to work, you need to know matrices, where George Washington was born, and how animal cells work.

Flawless logic right here folks.
No its 100% correct, if you think that its flawed then its quite obvious the school system is forgeted.

Steam clearly doesn't want to accept your card, I had the same problem with my old Visa card, it was unrecognised.

I suppose learning about War and stuff would be cool so long as the physical stuff can go out the window. Though being taught and trained to be an army personal is not ideal for my career.
You're probably not and you're probably only saying that because you dropped out. I don't know how it is over there in australia but here if you don't have an education you're not going to make nearly as much money as you would with a college education.
I'm teaching 3D art courses, sorry but America's system for just about everything is super stuff. And of course getting higher educations will allow you to do more things, no one will accept you into a job if you have no knowledge on the matter.

America always says one things then does the complete opposite thing doesn't it. Also why are you going to military school rather then just changing schools? Over controlling parents much?
