I'm really impressed by what you'be achieved so far with this and I hope you continue to work on this and finish it. Do you plan on making any significant improvements to the game over the original, or are you simply going for an authentic recreation in a first-person perspective?  I'd love to see some of the base-building implemented from the original.

This could actually make a really good CO-OP game if you wanted to avoid the difficulties of programming AI "helpers".
Its following the original games lead but significant changes must be made for the game to be enjoyable and playable. As for a lot of features for the game that all depends on who I can find to do any sort of scripting for it. At the moment its entirely Online Co-op and there will never be "AI" helpers, though I thought about AI defenders depending on how the game ends up.

I play this on 360. For consoles, it's quite a bit above the competition.

As for destroyable environments, this game is obviously meant to be played differently. If anything, lack of "solid" cover (Also seen in: real life) requires you to use strategy and adapt to your constantly changing surroundings. As far as I know, BF:BC pioneered this... or at least the use of destructible environments in this specific genre.

It's fun as stuff.
If cover was destroyed right next to you in real life you'd be dead. Some goes for a lot of things in real life. Once again it was built for consoles and doesn't handle the same on PC.

Why would i want cover intact if I'm on the Attacking team? That's when I usually use the grenade launcher. On defence I use the 40mm Shotgun.
Cover is cover, you use it to protect yourself from fire no matter if your attack or defence.

I'm not going to waste my time going into the house to knife him if there's an easier alternative.
3 seconds is a waste of time with the outcome being that you still have cover intact, you are rewarded with a knife kill which in most peoples books is a more reward-able experience and you are actually getting something saying you knifed him? You honestly a noob and a half at FPS games, just a mindless child who probably enjoys actions films for the explosions rather then going a movie for the intellectual properties.

Easier is not always better, in fact you're the kind of person that ruins the games experience because of you cheap way of playing. In basket ball I can knock people over and get away with it, do I? No because thats cheap and not an enjoyable experience for both players.
Except the HORRID netcode will make it so once you've emptied your entire mag into him complete with hit markers and blood sprays he kills you with a short burst.
Oh don't even get me started on that, my god the netcode is stuff.

"Hmm, there's someone hiding behind a wall and I can easily kill him by blowing up that wall. LOL GRENADE LAUNCHERS R 4 NOOBZ SO I WILL RUN UP TO HIM AND PROBABLY DIE!11"
Didn't read my earlier post did you, "Destroyable environments make the game worse and not better". If you honestly have to blow a wall up just to get to someone then you clearly can't think of strategy or incapable of comprehending a loving door. Whats better to make a stuff ton of noise by blowing a wall destroying cover as well as the possibility of not killing the enemy blowing the wall up, or to walk behind them knife em or just to shoot them in a fair and square fight. Noobing it all the way there buddy.

lol I love it when people get mad over someone using a legitimate weapon. If I have it, I might as well use it.
Playing like a fool still means you play like a fool, rather then gaining skill you take the easy one hit kill noob way out and you never gain any true skills in the game. Why bother using any other weapon if you just use the same stupid weapon to do everything in the game, oh wait because your a small minded drone idiot.

<3 grenade launchers. An enemy ended up jumping in the way of my grenade by accident yesterday when I tried blowing up a wall with it.
Oh god, grenade launchers, grow some loving balls. I honestly don't remember much from my BC2 experience because it was so bad, I still choose not to.
What the forget is this bullstuff? Learn to play before making ridiculous claims.
Sorry I don't play stuff games played by handicaps such as yourself, LOL NADE SPAM WINS. I'M SO GOOD BECUASUE I CAN NOOB TUBE.

So if the prototype works well, are you planning to go all out with this? As in remake the entire RR game and maybe some custom maps?
Yeah over time though, so god damn busy with game development from Zelda World, Rock Raiders and a Microsoft Imagine Cup game contest which the head of my 3D school was the finalist judge for. She's also my boss D:

I got into the beta, but the loving game doesn't even work. It just black screens. What's even gayer is you can't even start it with the executable file in the game folder, you have to start it from your browser, which makes no sense.
Its a web browser game cough cough. Its just one of those bullstuff "IT RUNS IN YOUR BROWSER" schemes that actually don't run in your browser and in fact lag because it is. Much like the Torque 3D browser feature.

No matter how hard you guys try you can defend this awful game. On console I'm sure its a great game but the PC port was so bad its not even playable. All the game mechanics are insanely console and stupid, re-spawn on any squad mate? Honestly I've had to kill entire squads 3 times over just to loving stop them from spawning its ridicules. There's like 2 weapons that are actually used one is the medic LMG and one is a sniper rifle, if you don't use these you instantly get forgeted over. Players camp None stop, I play attack/defend and what does the attack team do... camp about 5 foot from the spawn on the highest point and what do the defending team do, camp on the other side of the level ending up attacking Never wins. Doesn't take much to destroy fun gameplay that I know as a fact worked perfectly fine the way it was back in 2142 where Squad leaders were the spawn point and not your entire squad. Destroyable environments make the game worse and not better, being able to completely expose capture points on all four sides is bad game design.

Like I said its built for Console, PC MP blows much like COD/MoH.
