I say do it. I get minimum for cashing checks and doing people's bills all day, which isn't really bad at all. If you get minimum for hosting people then by god take it!

Nexuiz. It's kinda like quake, or it's a quake mod that made its way into a standalone. I'm not entirely sure.

Battlefield 1942, Battlefield 2, are both free.

Arena, Daggerfall, if you like old-school MSDOS RPGs

Starmade is also free I think? Unless that's just the beta.

SpaceEngine, it isn't so much a game, but a universe exploration thing. You can visit star systems and galaxies and take screenshots and the like. Everything that we actually have mapped out is accurately (as far as we can tell) represented in the starmap. Anything beyond is procedurally generated, including stars, nebulae, galaxies, etc.

1. he'd be better off not wasting his money
2. why waste time getting certs when for $20 you can buy all the guns you'd ever want

2. why waste $20 on guns that all play exactly the same when you can play for a couple hours, yknow, naturally, and earn the certs passively to afford weapons.

I love the city's building style, it feels very old. Very simple and... "default," if you will.
It reminds me a lot of the old GSF maps with the rare building interior here and there. Great job!

Help / Almost nothing appears in my RTB prefs menu
« on: July 16, 2016, 02:16:17 PM »
I recently tried to change some preferences on a couple addons, but they either do not appear at all under the Preferences Tab, or sometimes the preferences tab even states that "This server has no preferences to manage."

Am I using the wrong version of a certain RTB or RTB-esque addon?

https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/4svpgr/bethesda_steals_a_fallout_new_vegas_mod_named/

The modder said he is entirely okay with it, and by terms of modding Fallout (or at least using the creation kit, unsure if the Mod Author used it) they have rights to use everything in it. Regardless, it was kind of stuffty to not credit the original author. But it was by no means illegal, unfortunately.

I've been making pixel art for a little over a year at this point, I'd like some feedback if you guys wouldn't mind! They're mostly sprites I make for Dungeons and Dragons games I host online.

Sort of modeled after the Twilight Princess Darknut

A few of my favorite humanoid sprites.

Chain Devil / Kyton, one of the first really detailed sprites I made.

Lizardfolk

Inspired by the Chillfos from LOZ:TP

Centaur.

Owlbear

And finally: some of my progress over this time, yesterday I remade an old sprite I made long ago.

General Discussion / Re: I feel like client mute should be default

alternatively you can just ban people who spam the chat

shifting the responsibility for spamming off of the spammer and onto the people who don't mute them seems weird to me
^
Muting someone that intent on being a nuisance will just be encouraged to spam more or act out further through emitters, sounds, or bricks to get your attention if they can't do it through the chat.

Yes, it will save you a lot of money and (Rather tedious) prerequisite courses that you'll otherwise have to take in your first year of college (Or later if you put them off, which is no less stuffty).

It saved me a lot of work and helped out a ton. I advise doing it.

Edit: I think it really depends on the school and how the program is handled, but the courses may even be a tad bit easier when you take them this way while still in high school. In my school they were taught by existing teachers, so it was a more comfortable and familiar atmosphere.
