I forgot to compile something for the web server stack so I'm going to re-compile that tomorrow at a low-usage time. Once that's done I should be able to re-open the upload system again.

Forums have been moved over now, DNS changes might take a while to change for you depending on where you are etc.

If you have any problems just let me know. Things may have messed up a bit from the move.

JD quit being butthurt over the fact that you're too stupid to engage in even the most basic security practices that even my Grandma manages to adhere to. You seem to be expecting Badspot to disconnect him from the internet so he can never "hack" (read: trick you into downloading a virus) you again. If you're really this stupid it's only a matter of time before some other 12 year old fat kid tricks you into downloading something else. You only have yourself to blame here. Nobody can protect you from your own incompetence.

DNS should be re-propagated for most people now - if you're still having issues connecting just wait a bit longer. The downloads system is actually now on a different webserver from where the api is serving files so I've had to disable file uploading/editing for the time being to prevent any files getting inconsistent. Once the downloads system is moved over I'll re-open those but that might not be until Monday since I'm away for a bit.

The good news is the API runs super fast now.

The old webserver has broken so badly that I've had to migrate things early. The api is the first to move over and I'm transferring things now. I'll keep posting updates here as things progress.

The RTB Webserver had a pretty rough night last night, I think she's on her last legs. I'm going to be away for about 5 days from tomorrow so I can't sort it out now, but when I get back I'm going to move everything over to the new server which actually has some decent hardware. I'm done configuring it for RTB usage and I plan to launch v2 of the api and "brochure" site after that.

I'm taking daily backups of files and data so any sort of loss isn't an issue, it's just a nasty webserver configuration basically.

The Mod Manager is still useful, but I'll be disabling content downloading when v18 is released, and then I'll probably remove that functionality from v4.

Does this mean the add-ons section is going to close or be renovated? Or is this going to be uploaded and integrated into actual blockland, or is it just for testing purposes to see how faster the download goes?

No, The files will just be hosted in a single place for fast downloading when you're connecting to a server - much like how the RTB Content Downloading works but a faster and cleaner implementation.
