Easier to work with.

Yeah but how? You can't even pass an array as a parameter. That's absurd?

They're better this way.

Very easy to work with.

I'm not sure where to start regarding Torquescript's arrays. It doesn't even have arrays. All you're doing is dynamically creating variable names by appending a string or number to the end of them. They're certainly the worst substitute I've ever come across - I can't imagine anything being worse. How can you find them good?

Unless there's an auto-updater there are still going to be people wandering around with outdated broken versions of this. You can't expect everyone to be rigorously making sure their add-ons are up to date.

People don't read, and unfortunately I make a note of people who don't read because I need people in the beta who do read.

Help / Re: Automatic add on enabling
« on: October 13, 2010, 11:28:43 AM »
There is no code in RTB to auto-enable add-ons. I'm certain you're doing it yourself or you have other add-ons interfering.

I just added that limit because I couldn't fit "100" into the red indicator on the Transfers button.

Just moved over the database that used to sit in a remote datacenter and this has sped up the entire system considerably. It takes about 2 seconds to login now as opposed to the ~20 seconds it used to take. One of my main concerns has been the database being a bottleneck but so far it's coping really well.

We're on v4 ALPHA 4 at the moment - I'm hoping ALPHA 5 is the BETA release candidate, but we'll see.

Previous hasn't been disruptive and I haven't flagged him as being a douche bag at all so I don't see any reason to ban him personally. I don't even remember this Goombie person either.

I was made a Global Moderator and you friends weren't - so I think I'm going to keep following my own advice. Thanks for the input though.

He's expecting some sort of "OH MY GOD YOU HAD US FOOLED SO BAD BRO" response.

This is not drama, this is pathetic attention whoring. Moved to Off Topic.

Really?

I'll give you a clue - It's between lines 4 and 6 of the error report.

Pew: If you don't encourage them to work it out for themselves they'll never learn.

Oh I knew it was real. That doesn't mean it isn't against the law and won't explode in their faces later.

Yeah, the Greeks have also taken to rioting in the streets and firebombing their banks so I think kids taking over a school isn't going to garner the kind of response it usually would.

That was uncalled for.

You'd understand where he was coming from if you had the capacity to make anything that anyone thought was worth ripping off. Plus the kid he's replying to is a douche bag.

Update time

Alpha testing has progressed well and a bunch of bugs have been fixed. There are a few more outstanding issues to be fixed which I'm still looking into but they don't really prevent the smooth running of the system.

There are also some feature requests which I'm going to deal with, and a few other parts I need to make look nice and then we'll be ready to allow 80 new testers to join for the beta phase.

No it's not the same. As I said - Torque can't deal with big numbers. 1.8e+006 is a big number.
