I've had no intention to, but it could be useful. Can you define what you'd expect to see in this feature? Would it be limited to just an author replying to commenters or could you then have a commenter replying to the author who commented on his comment?

It gets more complicated if you want it to be more than 1 comment deep.

With the surge of new bricks being put onto RTB I've decided to go ahead with a minimal RTB v3.4 update. This will contain a couple of fixes for pertinant issues (add-on updating mainly, and one long-standing IRC bug) with the main addition being server content downloading. I'll hope to have this ready for internal testing in about 2 weeks time.

Why are you still posting in this thread? Your intelligence is nowhere near the level required to understand simple english, let alone partake in meaningful discussion.

The only difference between RTB users and parasites, is that parasites dies after a while if they loose their host.

Why are you comparing our users to parasites?

It used to work initially when people had very few add-ons, It's related to an issue with timing which I overlooked so RTB doesn't know about all the add-ons you have before it sends a list to the API for a list of updates.

You can go thread-diving in the RTB Modification Discussion thread if you want to read more on it. It's essentially like a tagging system where you can choose from a bunch of pre-defined tags to assign to your server which other users can then search on. Very similar to things like WordPress.

Announced as updated?

Due to a limitation/oversight in the system design, when you update an add-on it will replace the file with the new version and increase the version number but won't notify people about it until a reviewer approves the changes. It's an annoyance I plan to address in the refactoring of the v4 download system.

If you are going to add someone to your friends list, Do Both of you have to have RTB? OR will the player still show up on your list even if they do not have RTB? I Have a feeling I already know -_-

You won't actually be able to add people who don't have RTB. This is because the accounts for the IM system are created when you first use RTB and without having an account people obviously cannot add you.

Server activity as I define it is comprised of more than just the number of players on it. I won't go into detail on how I'd be calculating server ratings for obvious reasons.

Everything you said that causes a crash is a very bad idea to be doing in mission editor. Its primary purpose is to edit missions (maps), hence the name.

Everything he said that causes a crash is also something the mission editor was built specifically to do. Maps often involve scaling and (although maybe not on Blockland) the spawning and scaling of vehicles too.


How are you running the mission editor? Using the command line argument or did you install a dodgy mission editor add-on?
